Yeah, I let my personal feeling influence the Gophs and the ND picks. How many times this decade has ND lost by less than 17 to USC? Once? This year's Irish team definitely ranks among the worst of all of them, too. I listened to a radio program about Weis' "accomplishments" at ND, really he has none. The commentators said the Weis contract was the worst and most underserved extension in the history of sports. I really can't argue...After 9 games he gets a 10 year extension??? WHAT?

Anyway, on to this week's games...

Thursday:

#2 BC at #8 VT (-3)
BC just isn't that good plus this games in Blacksburg, I'm picking VT to cover. Error on the side of talent I suppose.

Boise State at Fresno State (+3)
Go Broncos!!

#7 West Virginia at Rutgers (+6)
Rutgers is coming off an emotional win against USF, so this might be a letdown game for them.

#12 USC at #5 Oregon (-3)
I'm going to do my best Colin Cowherd impression here. I have to listen to him on ESPN radio on my way to work sometimes. He's terrible.

Hill is a game time decision, which is why the line is so high. I can't imagine he would miss a game of this magnitude, no true competitor would...however, if he does play, who knows how effective he'll be. The Ohio State offense had a good game last week, which is precisely why I'm predicting Wisc to cover this week. I have no faith in OSU's O having two consecutive good weeks.

Nebraska at Kansas (-20)
Kansas has not blown out anyone in the Big 12 this year, why should I believe they'll do it to Nebraska? Starting QB Sam Keller is out for the Huskers, but this line is too high for me to pick the Jayhawks.

Navy at Notre Dame (-3)
I have to pick ND. I just do. Navy has not won this matchup in 40-some years, I can't predict them to win this game. But I'm really scared...

I'm really tempted to pick MSU here...but I just can't. Even with all Michigan's injuries...

I cannot believe ND LOST to Navy!!! Wow... 43 years. I never thought they would lose. I can believe the Gophers got blown out again. They blow.

On a side note, you had to games that the odds makers predicted correctly... that's freakin insane how close they are. I have no idea how they do it. It's mind boggling.
