Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Well...I don't know. The author makes some good points with respect to what can go wrong with this franchise from now on (Jefferson having already reached his ceiling, Foye's talents simply being wasted in a desperate try to force him into a role he is not really suited for) and he has a good take on the franchise's near future (25-30 wins) and how things have to from now on (play the youngsters, evaluate their talent, let them grow into a unit)...but overall I have to disagree in the details with him.

I have only recently stated that a solid deal was made for KG, getting all the assets necessary in a superstar trade and no other desireable trade realistically available (Odom and Bynum?? Thanks, but no thanks! Stoudemire? It not that WE would have gotten him, dude, but the Hawks! Besides, I think we are equally good of with Jefferson).

And when it comes to the starting lineup, I have (again: just recently) expressed my opinion against starting Trenton Hassel because of the limitatations his game has. Besides it is interesting to see that the author talks plenty of the need to go young at all costs, but still starts both Blount and Hassel and mentions Davis in his lineup. And starting Green? I agree that he needs PT, both to develop and his development to be evaluated, but from the mass of SF-type players on the roster...Green starting? Seriously...no way! Not if you want to win more than 10 games.

I agree with you on that. I think the FO could've done more to makeover this team. I really believe Davis should've been traded in the offseason as well to pave the way for the young players or get a quality player who's not gonna leave Minny in a year. Another mentor type SF would've been a good addition.

*Assuming we got rid of Davis and McCants, which was a popular rumor this offseason.
