Well, at least Ryan should be able to watch this game. His two favorite teams...

No idea if our injured guys will play or not. Probably doesn't matter. Better to rest them and make sure they are completely healthy, than to have them get injured any further.

Prediction:

Pacers 95 - Wolves 89
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Pacers are looking solid....but they haven't played anyone who is good at rebounding yet.

Those teams will kick their ass.

Also unfortunately I won't be able to watch this game because I will be flying to Washington D.C. on Friday Night.

What for... if I may ask?

As for the game, I have no idea who will win. If we don't have Foye, Telfair, and/or Gomes it will be tough. As you said though, rebounding does seem to be one of our (few) strengths this season. That's a nice change at least.

These two teams minus Foye/Telfair/Gomes/any injured Pacers, is probably the most boring matchup I could ever imagine watching, ever.

Granted, they had two extra overtimes to get it done, but I'll take 20,19,18, and 18 from Smith, Davis, Jefferson, and McCants anyday.

Shad seems like he's going to blow hot or cold, which isn't the worst thing in the world since I kind of thought he'd be cold all the time. And you have to appreciate Craig Smith putting up those numbers as a 2nd round pick. I'd be happy with half of that production out of a 2nd rounder.

Between Foye, Jefferson, Smith, Gomes, and (I can't believe I'm saying this) McCants, we could have a pretty solid core in the future. That's if Green and Brewer never develop at all. It's going to be a rough season almost for certain, but that may not be a bad thing. Adding a Top 5 draft pick to this team next season could be exactly what we need to really become a force one day.

I agree with ya, the stat lines look good for everyone. Tried to see highlights on Sportscenter last night, but it was getting late, so I said forget it.

Next year if we were able to add someone like a Derrick Rose to our core... that would be awesome.
