Anyone heard or read any postgame quotes from Whit or anybody on what the deal with McCants was? I personally enjoyed it and was suprised and very amused.

Gerald Green, Marco, Buckner, & Brew all deserve props for hard, spirited efforts which kept us in the game in the 2nd half.

And Al Jeff's post game is a BEAUTIFUL thing to watch.

Fun game...I'm looking forward to Saturday.

It really stinks if he's hurt again. The way he started, we could've shipped him to a contender who wanted another post-presence at the deadline. If he's hurt, he'll go back to being just a salary dump, or cap space for us.

I highly, highly doubt he would trade him at the deadline. Especially not for a mercurial \"star\" that wants to be traded from another team. The only way we get a deadline \"star\" is if it's someone with attitude problems or other issues (aka Artest, Meebury, etc.)

Also, what players would openly want to come here? I'd bet that anyone who gets rumored to be traded to MN would go public saying that they wouldn't want to play for our pitiful franchise.
