It looks like we wont be saying farewell to our beloved Tim Duncan quite yet. In the final minutes of Malik Rose and Tim Duncan going to Minnesota for Michael Olowokandi, Wally Szczerbiak and two future round draft picks. The contracts were complete, and everything was ready to go, until Kevin McKale nixed it saying he wouldn't give away the draft picks. He stated \"for a player like Duncan who's best days are long gone, we don't want to give away the future.\" A player close to Garnett said he was devastated when he herd the news of Duncan not going to Minn. As him n Duncan are very close. Being a Texas native, I am very happy to not see our beloved seven footer not leaving. But for all of your Wolf fans, only more heart ache can come from McKale and his forever stupidly.

What i did was copy and paste what i could. It wouldnt let me paste the whole article for some reason. I dont know a thing about the source, so if its legit or not is beyond me. I was hoping maybe a member here would remember the trade better then me.

I was just asking because it seems like there are a lot of blatant grammer and spelling mistakes for an official news article.

Yeah, that makes no sense. Duncan's \"best days\" were far from \"behind him\" in 2003. He had only been in the league for 6-7 years. If anything, he was in his absolute prime. Three titles later, I'm pretty sure that's confirmed.

That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. There is no way that article is true.
1. Tim Duncan for Wally and Olowokandi, come on who would believe that.
2. The Spurs won the Championship that year, why would they take apart that team and give up the Finals MVP?
3. First round draft picks?? Kevin McKale gave those up for Marko and Ricky Davis. To say he wouldn't give those up for Tim Duncan is ridiculous.

Weird that this article doesn't come up at all on a google search...

Anyhow, the Spurs would never in a million years do that. Moving on...
