Ratliff has successful surgery

Minnesota Timberwolves center Theo Ratliff underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and will be out at least six weeks the team have announced.
The procedure, performed by famed surgeon Dr. James Andrews, repaired cartilage in the ailing knee.
Acquired from the Boston Celtics in the Kevin Garnett trade on July 31, Ratliff has averaged 8.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.8 blocks in just six games for Minnesota this season.
In his 12-year career, the 6-10 Ratliff has averaged 8.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.6 blocks in 685 games for six different teams.
