I really enjoyed reading this interview although it once again left me wondering how on earth one can be so blind - personal friendship to or fro - to let McHale run things when a man obviously so smart and competent like Fred Hoiberg is wating to finally take over.
What I enjoyed most was how clerverly Hoiberg talked plenty about the big years almost everyone of the Wolves was going to have and how much potential and talent in this young bunch was, only to remind everybody in his last statement that with a young team like that, no one can expect them to win a lot of games.
Sooooo...everybody will play great but we will win only a couple of games, right? That's the spirit: Praise your players, but don't raise to much expectations...clerverly done, Mr. Hoiberg.
What really amused me as well was as Hoiberg, asked for the Veteran leadership qualities of Davis and Blount, not even wasted a word on them (albeit he praised everybody else whose name was mentioned), instead quickly talking of Mark madsen to step up his leadership role as well as Ricky, Randy or even Brewer
