I am fine with Adelman seeing if he can still get something out of Wes, to be honest. This ball-on-the-floor thing is intriguing. Has yielded surprising results, too. And he hit a 3 tonight! Let's give it a few more games and see if anything comes out of it. We all are too knee jerk. Let's make a late New Years resolution to think forest vs. trees a little more.
Word. You can't undo a Rambisization in 2 weeks of rushed practice. You need at least 2 months, a priest, a circle of candles, and altar...
Good to see Wes putting the ball on the deck. He is SO athletic it defies reason that he would not be able dribble once and swoop into the basket and finish consistently. That gets the outside shots going. That's how it works.
True. Quite a few of the guys from last year have really struggled under Adelman so far. Beasley, Darko, AR... Pek is the about the same.
Wes has had some wild times trying, but he has shown surprising signs of being able to finish. Seems like it gets his confidence up, too. If he can add this element to his game, gets his shooting up, etc, he will at least have a chance to be average. And that's all we can expect from a Kahn draft pick.
