Wes is awesome. Fouled Morrow on the made 3 with 20 seconds left. Great job.

If Kahn would have listened to me and traded D-Charge for Morrow we wouldn't have this problem. :(

Common: a 4 point-play????? in the last seconds? Wesley - that was ugly...

Man what a thriller,

and closed with a steal by Ricky: nice....

Ridnour & Barea hadn't played well all game - but they made a lot of Clutch FT Kudos for this...

Maybe you forgot to watch the pressure defense applied by Ridnour all game long on DWilliams who shot only 5 of 18. Rubio wasn't handling the ball as much at the end for a reason!

No doubt. Man he'd be awesome on our team.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Game over, finally. Damn it Morrow, you shooting bastard. A few notes:

- While Morrow was producing, our 'potential' played six minutes. his trade value plummets...

- Beas solid in 15 minutes or so.

- I think it's a legitimate long-term problem to have poor interior defense from Pek, Love, Beasley, and D-Charge. Tolliver is fine down low and obviously Darko is solid. It would appear Adelman has given up on AR so I'm not it matters.

- Love continues to shoot poorly more often than not. The best two players can't shoot :( Why not more mid range game from him? He uses so much energy fighting down low and guys are checking him at the three. Why not design some Pek screens to free him up at the elbow? KG-style pop out jumpers. 2-3 of those and it might free up the middle even more than it already is for Pequille O'vic.

- Rubio...that boy is disruptive. As soon as I said he has hit a wall he turned up the energy. He loves that fourth quarter. I think he gets bored watching his team play like basura (trash en espanol).

- I want to hear JVG call a Wolves game. We deserve to hear him comment on Rubio more often.

- Barea, despite his shooting, looked much better tonight. He attacked well and half of the time his wild shots are fine because Pequille and Cali Boy are in position to rebound, so it's like an assist!

Maybe more thoughts later. I need to go get on my "Maynholup" real quick...

Even Humphries wanted nothin to do with Pekovic! Blue collar banger with some pretty amazing footwork and moves for a guy that size!

Despite the fact that Morrow was a monster STUD, that was still a really great win for us! Wooohooo, very exciting (although closer than it should have been.)

Rubio is so awesome and so clutch for a freakin 21 year old rookie! I can't get enough of him. And he owns 4th quarters like a pimp.

Player of the game for us was definitely Pekovic though. Man, the Nyets wanted nothing to do with him, and he was unstoppable. I think Darko's days are done. If not, they probably should be. Wes too... he still sucks bad, even though he made a few ok plays tonight.

Derrick Williams 6 minutes against the crappy, injury-ridden Nyets? He's doomed. We should have traded him after the draft.

We had 16 turnovers, which was really bad. But our shooting down the stretch and at the Free Throw line was so clutch! Plus we were 29 of 32 for FT's (90%!)

Anthony Morrow........ holy crap. He was unconcious. Looks like he won't be traded anytime soon.

In defense of the Nets, they've been playing as well as the Wolves so, they are far from garbage (with the Bobcats and the Wiz as the barometer for that measure).

Fellas, any thoughts on how Adelman and Love can work on helping to make him more efficient while allowing him to expend less energy for the last 2/3rd's of the season? I feel like he's going to hit that KG wall in his mid 20's where he starts to get exhausted by the time the 4th quarter hits. He works so hard underneath but still can't get his shot off well one-on-one. KG, for example, could just go to the quick fade or middle hook. Duncan could go quick glass. He needs a quick move on the block that can get the team a quick bucket but doesn't require the energy of a 5 second back down bulldozer move in the lane.

True, guess I shouldn't have been so harsh. The Nyets aren't *that* bad. Thanks for setting the record straight.

Love's shooting has been brutal this year. And he's playing too many minutes. And he needs a legit big man to take away the pounding downlow. Is Pecker that guy?

So he needs to play less, and needs some help rebounding the ball. That would be a good start.

Then, as you said before, gotta get some plays where he gets open for a jumper, as we know he can hit those. Don't need him banging downlow every game, plus he can hit 3's. Although I don't want him only launching 3's all game long.

I think the biggest issue is too many minutes and no one helping him downlow. That's the bottom line (so far.)

When Luke shot the last free throws of the game, the Nets announcers said we hadn't missed a free throw in the second half. 18 for 18.

Just thought I would mention this since I was complaining early in the year when we were missing free throws and losing close games.

Happy to see them making the most of those free points and clearly seeing how vital those points are in a close game.

Not that I am someone to beg for Timberpups... but man, my predictions were amazing and almost totally spot on.
