I just think about Scola's family back in Argentina being concerned for his well-being when they heard about the incident...

Can't wait until playoff time when Love has the hair and the beard of the guy on the left.

HA!

Awesome photo

Can you imagine the collective joy in Wolves Kingdom if Pek stomped on Scolas face? He would have elevated his cult folk hero status by a factor of 100000000

How Love responded:
“We got to talking about it, and as long as Luis and the Rockets are OK, then I’m OK with it,” Love said. “I feel like it was a learning experience, and it won’t happen again. There were no ill-intentions. I was trying to get him on a foul on the way up. I wasn’t trying to stomp him or anything like that. Just moving forward, and hopefully we win these next few games.”

How Love should have responded:

Should have been 1 game probably.

If Pek were to stomp somebody with at least half of his might, not only would it crush their skull it would also smash a hole in the hardwood.

Yea...considering the type of suspensions Bynum, Mo Williams, etc. have gotten, then 2 games is crazy. but who cares. Heel time Love. I'm all about it. Now all we need is Rubio to clothesline Bosh on a layup.

Wow, that's so lame and not straight.

We should be able to still beat the dysfunctional Kings, but who knows. We need all the wins we can get this year. :(

Should have only been 1 game at MAX, especially since the season is shorter. Oh well, just $tern trying to make us lose so the Hornets get a better draft pick.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

The only thing that could make Rubio more awesome is if he morphed into Bad Ass Rubio. Championships.

Whoa! Whoa! To be honest, I didn't see the incident, but if you stomp on somebody's face, you deserve a suspension. Bynum got what? - 4 or 6 games - for the foul last season. Don't recall Mo's. Look at Suh's fine/suspension for his stomp this past season in the NFL. K-Love made the correct statements regarding the incident. Stomping somebody's face is a punk, street-fighting tactic. Hard fouls are a reality - a part of the game. But, to stomp on somebody is not excusable.

Actually this could be a good opportunity for us. Cause:
1. Love get's the rest, that he really needed & needs for we have a hard schedule coming up

2. DWill get a chance of playing some more. Which surely is a positive scenario
a. If he plays great: Then either his trade value is better again, or
Adelman finds a place in the rotation, that works (which make our
team a lot deeper)
b. If he plays bad: `cause he's a reasonable kid, he has to admit, that
it's only fair, that he didn't play more minutes & `cause he is a
winner, he will do everthing in his power, to become a better player &
earn some more minutes...

3. With AR, Pek, DWill and Beasley we have 4 guys, that can play down low.
And if Milicic comes back, there are even five. This shouldn't be a
problem, for DeMarcus Cousins is way to inconsistent... And Hickson etc. aren't that dangerous

4. Sac doesn't play Defense, so it should be possible for our also not so prolific scorers to get some points. I expect JJ and Beasley to have a 25 points game each (which by the way highens the trade value of Beasley)

5. Memphis is right now on the beat down. And it's not so bad, if the tend to underestimate us, `cause only if they getting behind once during the game, the doubts will start affect their game. And our team is able to answer (also without KLOVE: what we have proven f.e. against NJ)

6. Eitherway, if we should have lost against Memphis (or even both games) or should have won KLOVE will come back with something to proof: that he is the leader, that will get us an extraboost

7. And even if we loose, we would have a simple excuse, to make a cut and go further...

And with a rested KLOVE this could maybe become a good month!!!

Well, it's not like he stood above him and went all American History X on the guy. It was still incidental contact. Scola was LYING on the ground when everyone was crashing the boards.

Yeah, .500 record or not, it will be nice to see the #2 pick get some time, plain and simple. Caged Lion remarks or not, he is playing (by virtue of position alone) a lot less than many of us probably thought. Hopefully we can go 1-1 during the suspension and get to see some 30+ minutes for D Will as a bonus. Might as well see what the guy can do...

And yes, Love getting a week off of rest is an underrated factor. He needs it.
