A ton of bad shots, a ton of TOs, and just bad excution at the end lost it for us. Did Adelman really draw up an off balance 3pointer??? I really hope not.

Plus it had my buddies screaming in my face over the Knicks winning.... >.<

This rotation is so out of wack. Love and Rubio are playing so hard. Our shooting guards and small forwards suck so much that they can't even start or play over two freaking PGs.

JR SMITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bonuses (boni?): Love goes for 30/20 against Jared Jeffries. Shumpert and Fields light us up.

I definitely get pups for my bonus predictions. Also I was 7 seconds off on my WJ time guess. If only Lin had made a couple more shots.

We had this one. At least Lin didn't destroy us like against the Fakers last night. There's no way I could go through THAT again...

You will again when we are playing 3 pgs. How are you suppose to defend people with that?

I'm guessing Lin gets destroyed tonight by Ricky, they are both competitors but Rubio has been doing this a long time. Lin relies on outsmarting his opponents, but Rubio is as cagey as they come.

Interesting info. I didn't watch the game, but it sounds like Rubio did an excellent job on Lin for the most part.

I wonder if Rubio's getting gassed from so many minutes so early in the season, or if Adelman's just having a tougher time managing rotations with JJB back. Things seem disrupted right now...

When Adelman put Rubio mianly on Lin he shut Lin down in the 2nd half. Lin had 17 pts in the first half, he only score 3 pts in the 2nd half. He was 1 for 12 or something like that in the 2nd half. Rubio has tremendous D, too bad right now we have no other scorer to go along with Rubio and Love.

What do you mean with scorer? Barea and Beasley are both better scorers then Ricky.

he is not saying rubio is a scorer, he is saying we need another scorer on the team, which would complement rubio and loves game.

An article on Ricky's defense of Lin

I'm not a fan of assessing a player's D based solely on these misleading, often contaminated stats. They tell a part of the story, but not all of it. Yea, I think Rubio played great D on Lin. But when you're defending against PnRs, it's hardly one man who can 'cause' someone to play poorly. Same goes the other way. They cite Rubio's mediocrity when defending the PnR ordinarily. Anyone would look mediocre or bad when you have Kevin Love and Pek not hedging or disrupting the opposing PG in any way.

Either way, some insight into Ricky's D.

Target Center was an absolute zoo on Saturday. 4th highest attendance in TC history. There was literally not an empty seat in the arena....and Melo and Amare were out.

I wasn't too impressed by Lin, to be honest. Let's see how he does when Melo and Amare are accounting for 40 more shots in the Knick's offense.

Biggest fail of the night was a sea of people leaving the game before the final 2 plays of the game where the Wolves had a chance to win it at the buzzer. It doesnt get much more fail than that, seriously. Even if the play was broken up twice.

Also.... two separate, unrelated stories from friends of friends from the past week or so I have been meaning to post:

-This probably happens all the time, but rumor has it that Kevin Martin and Jordan Hill were up until 7 am the night before the Rockets game against Minny last week with stippers from Ricks Cabaret in their hotel room. Martin had 2 points on 1-10 shooting that night. Possibly related.

-A friend of a friend plows and shovels snow as a side job and was doing an alley/set of driveways on the south shore of Lake Calhoun a few weeks back. As he is doing a driveway a voice beckoned him to 'hey do my driveway, too!' He turns around and there is freaking Darko standing there. So the guy talks to him for awhile and shovels his driveway. So, that is where Darko lives.

That's all. 2 dumb stories, but I know people love to hear those kinds of things around here.

I'm beating my brain trying to envision myself making small talk with Darko.

I'm envisioning myself digging in and shoveling the crap out of Darko's neighbor's driveway. And then going over to Darko's and pushing a little here and there, flicking a little snow lightly up in the air, maybe it get's off the driveway and maybe it doesn't...doing everything possible to piss Darko off watching someone go half ass at his job.
