Rubio definitely needed to sit, but he is the best pure point guard on this team by a wide margin. Just because the kid craps gold nuggets doesn't mean he isn't human. He's hitting a rough patch. He'll be back.
I hope Rubio does come out of his funk. As much as he controls the flow of the offense, his TO's and seconds per possession, doesn't leave much room to keep his SG involved. Legs get stiff, back tightens and when you do see the ball it's a surprise. Some of Ridnour's falloff I'm sure is related to the family issues he's been tending to. But Rubio has got to do a better job
keeping Wes & Luke
involved in their areas of strength.
