Between Beasley, D-Charge, and Darko's D, I am speechless.
For real?
I only caught the 1st half but my impression was that it was the worst effort I'd seen from him, maybe ever.
That would be why. Fantastic effort in the 4th. He shut down Blake completely, holding him to 1 point in the quarter after he was dominant through 3 quarters. I really wish Darko would embrace the role of a defensive role player. He could make another well-deserved/earned $20-$30 million in the NBA if he would.
I would do it.
Great win. This team continues to surprise and delight.
Beasley is hit or miss of course, but he is not a guy you trade for a draft pick and/or cash. Just don't do it. We need guys like him who have the ability to step up when Lorubiovic are having off nights or need rest. It's guys like him that are the x-factor and generate unexpected wins.
With a trade exception and future pick on the balance sheet instead of Beasley, the Clippers take this game. D Will alone wasn't enough (although he was a stud like last night, good to see a game that says: 'that's why he was the #2 pick.' We never have seen something like that from Johnson or Flynn when he was here, even when he was starting.)
Fact. Every Wolves fan should be furious if they give away Beasley. Beasley and Darko are in the same boat basically. Accept their role and flourish or lament it and be out of the league.
