What we lack (and what I wish Beasley and Williams both would bring- because they have the physical ability to) is MEAN.
We are sooooooo SOFT. Even Pek looked soft last night, now that he's trying to stay on the court he's forgotten how to smash. Big problem, because when Pek doesn't smash nobody does.
Last night we got treated like little boys by a bunch of grown-ass men. Hell, Hakim Warrick, Robin Lopez, and Channing Frye were out there throwing guys around like they were Ivan Drago.
So disappointed in the unwillingness of anyone on the T-Wolves to just frickin drop the hammer. No attitude.
There's a point to being a nice guy and then there is who you are on the court. Your opponent should HATE playing against you. That is the mark of a good player- teammates love you and opponents hate you.
Eff this. Beasley for Artest and Matt Barnes.
Welcome to reality. Wait till you see my trade. Instant toughness, son.
That would grow the 'Wolves some cojones!
MWP got 15 against the Kings tonight - 8 in 5 min late in the 4th after the Kings had cut the lead from 20 to 6. Also, Artest had 4 boards, 3 assists & a steal. Barnes had 10 off the bench and gave Kobe a nice breather in the 2nd. Kobe only got 38. The mask must be really bothering him (13-of-24, 11-of-14). LOL!
Uncharacteristically, the Lakers gave up 107 pts to the Kings.
Meanwhile, the Clippers were miserable. Losing 81-78 to Phoenix. Blake couldn't seem to buy a shot (6-of-19; Foye was worse- 1-for-8). Maybe you should look to Phoenix for defensive help?
