Some dude named pagliatti from Canis Hoopus posted this in the post game thread:
A lot of bashing on the usual suspects.
But Rid is a Jack´s level player. Webster and Beli too. As Johnson and Ariza. Kaman and Pek.

Love had the most favourable matchup- Landry out, Okafor out- and ended 10/23 with terrible defense too. The stats are there but he still gets looks on every other possession and he still doesn´t get a lot of double teams due to his mobility. He also doesn´t get yanked after some bloody bad D or airball while the same doesn´t hold for every teammate.

I got the feeling that most people thinks of him as last night MVP while his presence
didn´t matter at all, in the right way. Predictable offense, lack of opportunity for others that shows on their collective grayness.

I agreed with him, look for us to get completely flamed and banned within the day.

P.S. I'm not acknowledging what happened with Rubio. I'm ignoring it and pretending he's in Spain still. Coming over in 2012-2013.

Well this season is over. And it had been so exciting lately. Beyond depressing.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

I'm wearing the Rubio tee from the draft night as a show of solidarity today.

Well what can you say? Probably the worst news since the Garnett trade. What is more negatively impactful to the Twin Cities community, this or Adrian Peterson? A legit question. While Love is the better player right now, this just goes to show you how this secretly was Rubio's franchise. Or he was the one who generated the interest.

I'm not writing off this team yet. Mentally worn down team last night and I'll give 'em a night to sulk. Whatever. If we are worn out and devestated, imagine how the team feels. Excuse? Perhaps.

This team will bounce back. Playoffs will be tough and mostly predicated on how other teams do, but we won't see a Rambis-lead team for the rest of the year. These guys won't quit. Rubio was crucial, but just one of 9 rotation players. Luke can hold his own and needs a couple of games to get used to his role. Last night we saw Malcolm Lee, Brad Miller and Wayne Ellington play for stretches. This team simply needs to adjust, and I think that they will.

Peterson has yet to miss a meaningful game and the Wolves were in a playoff race playing to a nearly sold out TC. Plus it has been at least a month since I got a you must be a crazy person look for mentioning the Wolves to someone.

If Peterson is ready to roll at the start of next year it will be cemented that Rubio was the much much worse.

This is worse news than the KG trade because that was a team on the decline.

I just wonder about the healing process.. There's still some swelling, so he's going to have to wait a week or 2 to get the surgery...Kahn seems confident he'll be ready to go by the season opener, but I'd have to believe they will be extremely cautious and we won't see him till some point in December. Although David West had his surgery around April 12th and he was ready to go for December 26th and I know Ricky's surgery will happen in March
