I love this quote by Adelman on Darko..."He hasn't done anything to really give you a lot of faith that he's going to go out and do the job," Adelman said of Milicic. "He's gotten himself out of shape. He hasn't been as driven as you'd like so when a situation like this happens, it's time for someone to have their opportunity and get back in there."
So basically has Kahn done anything right besides getting Rubio over here? Darko fail, Love extension situation, fail, Pek and Love=McHale's guys, Randolph-fail, Barea thus far-fail, Webster-Fail, Drafting 3 point guards in one round-fail, Wes Johnson over Cousins-Huge Fail
Cousins would have been bad news bears. Monroe (quasi-sleeper) or Udoh would have been better fits for our team than Cousins, who would have poisoned the well even further than Rambonehead did.
Barea = what do you expect? He dribbles a little too much, but he did that in Dallas too. When he's healthy, he does a few things well (pisses the other team off, scores in bunches, handles the ball without turning it over too much).
But yeah. Other than that you are on the money. FWIW, lots of people wanted Randolph although we were sad to see Brewer go.
Kahn is an average GM with what should have been better than average opportunities. I have no idea how much Glen and the rest of the ownership handcuffs him, but I have a hard time feeling sorry for himself. You need to be able to negotiate within your own organization as well as outside of your organization.
