This season is about over, might as well start thinking about the only time of the year that’s mattered to the Wolves as a perennial non-playoff team off season. Lots of things to contemplate.

So I hear Rubio tore his ACL in Spain, huh? Shit. I can’t imagine him or AP being ready for the season openers. Wouldn’t those be the MOST optimistic scenarios ever? I don’t know, educate me if you like. How much can he realistically work on his shot while he rehabs? That’s the worst part. Phuck the injury, he’s not very athletic anyway. How in the hell can he work on his shooting when his leg is all mucked up?!

Royce White is entering the draft. The Wolves have a late first round pick, match made in heaven. Anytime you can pick up another Tweener to ride the bench, it is a MUST.

We won’t know specifics about draft picks and stuff until the season ends but we can all begin to formulate our plans A, B, C, D, E, and Kahn (F) for the off season. I’ll have to think about it and take a better look at free agents and stuff.

I’m rooting for OKC to fall on their faces in the playoffs due to offensive ineptitude so that they trade the Wolves Ibaka for the Caged Lion.

Surely the Wolves will draft a wing to try and develop. What a shitty year to NOT have a lottery pick.

Kahn's plan along to make sure we didn't have a top pick in the draft this year to make sure we couldn't get anyone who can replace Wesley Johnson in the starting lineup. Can we trade Kevin Love for Charlotte's next 2 1st round picks starting this year?

Royce White!!! Pretty sure he's destined to end up on our team. No doubt about it.

I can't wait to see which new creative way KAHN manages to completely epic fail this draft. Should be pathetic intriguing.

Hope Ricky rehabs well in Spain. Tough break for him over there. But at least we'll finally get to see him on the TWolves next year for the first time, woohoo finally!!! :woohoo:
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

The trade thread can't die...just needs a a fresh look and context. The thing was 81 pages long and contained the exact same conversation cycle about 28 times. We won't forget.

I need more Wolfenstein 6-team, 35 player/14 draft pick trade scenarios in my life.

It's not too soon. Season is over in less than a month. Playoffs are sort of a long shot, but still possible. Plenty to still discuss there in other threads. Rubio is FINALLY coming over from Spain soon (YAY!). Josh Smith demanded a trade YEARS ago. We might end up with a decent first rounder after all. Lot's to be excited about.

Who to sign? Who to trade for? Who to draft? Who to sell for draft picks and cash that will go unused? Who to gift to the Lakers/Knicks for nothing? Who to re-sign? Who to let walk? Who to trade to get Corey Brewer back? Who to call over at American Tobacco Co. to get Brad Miller a much-deserved sponsorship?

Since it is all up to us, we need to figure this out.

What pick does it look like we'll get?

Well if the Jazz make the playoffs, we get their pick. So probably 16-18. Seems like a somewhat decent chance of happening.

Apparently my off season thread wasn't good enough for you.

Derrick Williams and anything else minus the untouchable quartet (Pek, Love, Rubio, Martell) for Josh Smith. I will play this card until he is traded elsewhere.

Good to see. I was just about to have my people send you a message on your doorstep...Flaming bag of shit style.

Shannon Brown, CJ Miles, Carlos Delfino, and Landry Fields. All upgrades and potentially available.

That wasn't you who left the bag? Damn...must have been Hoopnuts or TheMerryPrankster.

Landry Fields piques my interest. As do both Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett. Is Fields actually good? Or is he a typical D'Antoni overachiever-type?

Slim pickings all around. Good thing Kahn turned down the Derek Fisher trade to preserve that cap space. Does he honestly think he can still get Batum? He must. How hilarious is that?

Just throw Portland a godfather offer for Wes Matthews.

I was reading an article (I think it was about John Wall and how bad his jump shot is) and I remember seeing that Shannon Brown has the worst jump shot shooting percentage of anyone in the league this year, for what that's worth...

Webster & Wes Johnson for ARIZA. Let's get it.

Here is a list of free agents sorted by team as opposed to the massive text wall on Hoopsworld.

I will co-sign on your thoughts until this happens, and JSmoove is a Minnesota Timberwolf.

Thanks, that link is awesome.

I like Fields (he's legit) or Wes Matthews. Either guy works for me. No chance Portland doesn't keep Batum...
