This season has went from 'finally we are there' to 'should've known our rotten luck'. But instead of thinking we are cursed, we should believe that this WILL turn out fine. Why? because Rubio will be back next season still averaging nearly 10 assists per game, Kevin Love will still be the best PF in the league and a top 5 player in the world, while I do believe this offseason trades will be made (which fell through near the deadline) that will fill the glaring holes in our roster.

Yes, we're not making the playoffs albeit a really hard fought campaign. But guys, remember how it was the last couple seasons. We SUCKED while our best player was the 12th best PF in the league Big Alco, we couldn't score over 80 without Beasley chucking up shots (whaaaat?) and there was still the ghost of this guy in the back of our heads;

(after you somehow hold the laughter, let this sink in and be happy about the Twolves)

I can honestly say I am content with this shortened season. We were the talk of the league because of Rubio, Love, Adelman's coaching and the growth of some players. Next season the publicity is coming because of a playoff berth.

HA!

Solid.

Also I'll note that if you said at the beginning of the year that we would be right around 0.500 even WITH Rubio, but barely miss the playoffs, most would have agreed that would have been a BEST CASE scenario.

We may end the year a smidge under 0.500 and played a huge chunk of the season without our second best player.

Good perspective.

Yeah I agree. Injuries suck and happen to all teams, especially Adelman ones (is there something to his offense? I dunno. Maybe. Someone have Malcolm Gladwell do a post on it.). Net, net: great year through the first 2/3 of the season. I predicted 25 wins and we will finish close to 30 in all likelihood. Not bad at all.

The only thing I want to implore everyone to mentally prepare for, and I am sincerely not trying to be a wet blanket is: no big moves this summer. We will improve the wing and add some new blood, there will be moves, but I want everyone to get used to this soundbite:

"Wes Johnson hasn't had a full summer to prepare for the season."

"We really want to see how this team operates injury-free. Last year 'didn't count' because we had so many injuries.'

Etc.

I'm not trying to negative...just trying to help people lower expectations.

No more needs to be said about Kahn to reinforce why,and this is a positive thread, so Ill stop.

Yes, Czaras, I am totally with you.

This season has far exceeded my expectations, no matter how the last few weeks go here.

And RUBIO is finally coming over from Spain next year!!

The secret to happiness is low expectations.

That's what I'm talking about. So very true.

God this summer without any moves is going to suck. I freakin hate Kahn. Oh well.... at least Rubio is FINALLY coming over to our team next year! YES! STOKED!!!! :woohoo:
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."
