Might as well start with the obvious, R Rose pulled a Rubio. Sucks for him and Bulls fans. Dude has had a complete mess of a season. Seasons like his and Barea's are unfortunately most easily explained by poor conditioning and not being in the best shape as a result of the lockout. This season is just such a fucking fail. The quality of ball has not been good either.

The Sixers have no chance, even without Rose. The Bulls' D is too much for the Sixers. That game further solidified my desire for Tuner and/or Iggy on the Wolves. However, if you watch Thad Young you can see how it would be hard to get him and the Caged Lion on the court at the same time. Two tweeners with very incomplete games, but in different ways. Anyway, Nobody at LibertyBallers.com likes Doug Collins, and I can see why. He says dumb things and he alienates his players. I don't think he can grow players. Many have regressed under him.

The Knicks/Heat don't deserve much mention. As I've been astounded by all season, Amare Stoudamire is absolutely DONE. What happened? He's not good. At all. Sometimes he can score 20 points, but he's not good. He never was amazing but at least he was an offensive juggernaut. He is like Darvin Ham or something...

The Eastern conference matchups are not worth paying attention to, other than the Celtics of course.

I KNOW, seriously what happened to Amare?!? He looks like trash now. And he's got like $65 million or something left on his uninsured contract. Bwahahaha that sucks for them.

Bummer for Rose, but ya can't blame Thibs for having him out there. It's the playoffs... you do everything to win.

At least now the Celtics have a better chance at the title!

If not for the Dallas thriller and the Clippers comeback, this would have probably been the worst start to the playoffs I can remember, for many reasons. With all of the injuries, it has sort of taken on a slasher film mentality. Who will be next?

But how funny is the Magic beating Indy in game 1 without Dwight? I didn't watch the game so those who did please post thoughts. Sounds like the Pacers made some crucial errors down the stretch. Dwight is an idiot. A worse villain than LeBron. Why would he want VanGundy out? So he can be replaced with Kurt Rambis, Paul Westpaul, Larry Brown, or Flip Saunders?

Meh the Bulls weren't up by that much and you can't play as if you're scared your players are going to get hurt. I don't blame Thibodeau at all.

I think the Grizzlies can still come back and win the series, but it depends on CP3. If he plays great, the Clippers will win.
