I am sorry but K. Love can really sound like an arrogant ass sometimes. A lot of those guys on Team USA paid their dues and led their teams to the playoffs. He hasn't done either yet to the extent that most of those guys have, namely because of age and because of Rambust & DimWittman being complete tards. We are headed in the right direction. To call out the FO publicly like that this early in his career is really weak.

And PS his stats wouldn't be nearly as sweet and he probably wouldn't be getting nearly the recognition and accolades if he was on a better team.

He is not as good as he thinks he is.

Rubio = wins > K. Love = wins.

Remember when he went head to head v. Dirk, Aldrige, & KG in that week after Rubio went down and got owned? Yeah. Love still has a ways to go. He should shut his big mouth and lose a little bit of the sense of entitlement.
Ha. I get ripped on by all ya'll when I point out stuff like this. Oh well.........

But needless to say, I agree with you.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

It's about time Love grew a pair and went after Kahn and Taylor. Seriously, this team has been absolute crap after the 04 season. Still can't believe the office had to force Garnett out of here. Call him a douchebag or whatever but this is actually the first time i've gained some respect for Love. He's not demanding a trade or anything like that. Just pointing out that Minnesota deserves better than what we've gotten the past 7 years. Put the maximum amount of pressure he possibly can on Kahn and Taylor to start spending some $ and getting actual talent. If I was Love i'd after playing the Olympics with Iggy should go to the media again and demand Kahn and Taylor trade for him.

That being said, even if this team does make the playoffs it's going to take more than just a 1st round appearance to convince Love to re-up with the Wolves in 3 years. When Kahn ends up giving Rubio the 5 year 98 million max is the day this franchise is doomed.

Everyone read again what this man wrote. It's the truth!

Okay, so Love's big argument is he is on Team USA and everyone but Deron Williams was in the playoffs last year and wah wah he is in a worse situation so feel sorry for him. But he is comparing himself to guys who are either better or more established than him. It's not apples to apples. Let's compare.

Kobe - Way older. Uncomparable current situations.
Durant - Older, better, etc. No comparable.
Chandler - Way older. Was probably in a similar situation to Love when he was at that point in his career.
Paul - Way older. Was in a similar situation to K. Love at the same point in his career. Except oh yeah, Paul still led his similarily crappy team to the playoffs.
Williams - Did not make the playoffs.
Melo - Way older. Has only made it out of round 1 once anyways.
Griffin - This is the best comparison I guess.
Iggy - Way older, and this was the 1st time he got out of the 1st round.
Westbrook & Harden - Okay, this might be somewhat comparable. But this is one team. You can't expect to be on the model team for upstarting with young talent. There are 29 other teams out there.
LeBron - Was actually in a very similar situation his first SEVEN years in the league. And he led his team to the finals, etc. Because he is a way better player.

Love can't compare his situation to his current USA teammates situations. They are either older or better or both, as a general rule.

It's true that K-Lav really shouldn't complain about not making the playoffs in a league where a single good player can carry their team to the playoffs. With that said, everything he said about Kahn & Taylor is absolutely true. They've been running this team into the ground for years. I don't know how anyone can be mad at him for calling them out. This is like a dream come true for long suffering Wolves fans.

That's not what I had issue with. It's the parts where he says stuff like, "I believe in surrounding greatness with greatness." How big of an arrogant douche do you have to be to talk about yourself like that?

Ain't sh*t changed but the weather RH. My man comes from entitlement, it's who he is. It's a good thing he's good on the court, so I can ignore him as a person. I would probably hate being his teammate (the f*ck am I talking about, I'm a 6 feet Power forward, I couldn't even play D2 ball).

he is a cry baby. he needs to shut up and be a winner.

go talk to management if he want to complain.

if he was to upset with this team then why did he sign a new contract? he just sounds like a big cry baby.

fans feel the way he does, and i do too. but he cant be throwing that out there like that, how do you think his teammates feel, he is holding himself above them, like he is "better" then them and they need to be replaced. not a team leader

Yea, agreed. He can be a snobby ass all he wants, I could not care a whole lot less. BUT, you don't want your teammates to feel that way about you. This is what you tell Kahn and Glen, not the media. Oh well, life goes on. Ricky is the real leader anyway.

Do it. It's the only way to ensure that the West can compete with Miami and the Nyets.

That would be funny if we traded K-Lav to the Thunder and then they become a worse team with him.

I wonder what he'd have to say about things then...

That inevitable day we do trade him in 2 1/2 years, I hope we manage to get something good rather than that garbage we got back for KG

I would feel the exact same way if I were going to battle every night with Michael Beasley, Anthony Randolph, Darko Milicic and the rest of Team Apathy. Those guys are (probably) gone though.

This is why I like adding Roy. A competitor who gives a sh*t at the very least.

You know what bothers me in hindsight? The fact that once Rubio went down, the entire organization wrote off the year and there was no draft pick to fall back on. Love quit. Adelman quit. Kahn quit. Team apathy quit. Darko quit. Everyone quit but JJ "Fricken" Barea and Brad Miller.

On the day 12society was released I was so pissed I would have signed off on a Love for Spencer Hawes/Jodie Meeks "Wolfenstein wants to trade D Will for this package" sh*t surprise.
