Wes Matthews is good, I'd take him.

Too bad he's getting 6-7M per year for the next 3 years. Very reasonable.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Like the move...We'll see if we get Stiesma and Hill along with it. Rather not see any sort of Pek for Gortat deal. I think Pek is a perfect combination with Love. Pek is the bruising center to love's outside game. Also, Pek has got to be one of the best offensive rebounding centers when he's healthy. I hope that extension gets locked up sooner rather than later.

I'm also beginning to fear that we aren't going to get Lee. This Batum situation has really thrown our asses backwards as far as an ability to make progress with Free Agents. With The Mavs surprising acquisition of Mayo, more teams are coveting Lee. We have to deal with Boston and the Suns right now. It appears like the Suns are trying to sign anyone after losing out on Gordon. They'll overpay handsomely for Lee and I bet our cheap office won't touch that sort of money. We better hope that Roy and Shved are going to produce at the 2 spot. Otherwise we'll be seeing a backcourt rotation of Ridnour, Barea and Wes. blahhhhhhhhh

I didn't know how many years his current deal is for, and was too lazy to look it up. The principle remains, though. We should intentionally bid up every single RFA coming out of Portland for the next forever years just to screw that joke of a franchise and their thumb sucking GM.

Is this official yet?

If so, good value move by Kahn. Cunningham is a nice 5th big and I don't mean that sarcastically. High energy, nice mid range game.

Looks like Tolliver won't be back. Too bad. I suppose change can be good but he is one of the few Wolves who brought it every night. And when I say brought, I mean brought massive quantities of bricks.

I think this is one of those trades that is good for both teams. Wayne will probably never make a real impact on a winning team, and we need a physical, gritty backup to Love.

I do want to give Wayne some props though. He is a smart player, a hard worker, and by all accounts a good guy. If he can become a consistent shooter like he was supposed to be coming into the league, he may find his niche as an 8th/9th man somewhere.

Like I always said last year, if we could put Wayne's brain and heart into Wes's body, we would really have something.

Or Tolliver's, or Gomes's, or Ridnour's, or...

Same could be said for Beasley as well. There is a point at which a certain amount of talent is a crutch for all but the elite few.

Fair enough. I can certainly get behind that idea HAHAHAHA.
