I hate Kahn.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Rubio has a torn ACL, and Roy has no knees. So are we going to play 3 on 5 or what?

Jesus my dude. You make me not want to click on your posts. What has all of a sudden caused this onset of panic? Rumors of Wes and a 1st being traded? Oh no, how dare they...chill out Crazy Wolf. You are beyond reason at this point.

I wish I didn't care about this team as much... believe me.

Wes Johnson sucks. But this trade sucks more. Also AK47 isnt that good he just has a cool nickname and looks scary.

$9 million is a big risk for Kirileko. Trading Wes and a first to clear cap room is silly unless Kahn is really far a long in the Kirilenko discussion. If he misses out on him he is probably going to look like a pretty big idiot. I understand the negative reaction to this from anyone.

Those factors aside...in a vacuum....let's not forget that Kirilenko is a pretty awesome player. He was only an all-star once and might be a tad old and usually misses 1/4 of the season, but he would be an outstanding, productive addition to this team. Gerald Wallace-level play. How is he washed up? He has been an elite defender and only missed this past season due to the lockout. He was the Euroleague MVP this year. Gee, what a potentially terrible addition vs. Wes....

If this move does happen and you look at the team by itself without looking at what Kahn has done, it's a better and more balance team. If you just look at all the moves that Kahn have made you would have a CW meltdown. Kahn is horrible. The last GM that traded away all his 1st round picks because they were horrible picks was Isiah Thomas, and now he can't get back into the league. Kahn is that bad.

AK-47 was one of the only people in the last 15 years to record a 5x5 which is a stupid made up box score statistic but still pretty cool when you break it down.

5 Pts, 5 Rebs, 5 Asts, 5 Stls, and 5 Blks in the same game. That's Olajuwon and David Robinson sh*t right there. Scottie Pippen sh*t. AK is a baller and has a super hot and apparently open-minded wife.

So for that reason alone, AK is okay by me. Granted, 2006 AK would be better than 2012 AK, but we were all just cheering to sign Ray Allen. 31 year old Kirilenko is way more useful to our team than 37 year old Ray Allen, even though Ray Allen is an outstanding shooter. Kirilenko can still play D and contribute.

CW, stop hatin and start participatin.

He is 31 years young. Just won the Euroleague MVP last year. He is really good. There is no truth whatsoever to the washed up argument.

People seem to be upset because:
1. The context this is happening in. Trading Wes WITH a 1st. Strongly agreed. Total BS that Kahn gets away with this nonsense. What a hack.

2. A fallacy: that because AK-47 played in Russia last year it must mean no one wanted him. Far from the truth. It was the lockout. He would certainly have been playing in the NBA this past year if not for that.

AK-47 has missed a lot of games the past few seasons. Other than that I suppose it's a solid pickup. Plus he's white, naturally.

And yeah, agree with WW. We aren't complaining about Andrei. It's the fact that we had to trade YET ANOTHER future first round pick, just to dump the salary of the #4 overall pick in the draft! I mean, SERIOUSLY ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!? We all knew that Lesley was that shytty, but nice job drafting him Kahn. Idiot! I mean, Paul George, Greg Monroe, Cousins, etc etc etc. All passed on.

Kahn could have simply declined Lesley's option. But no. So instead we have to waste a first round pick to get rid of him. Utter lunacy.

You wouldn't give up a protected first rounder for AK? That's weird.

And give it up my dude. Everyone knows Less Johnson is bad. you knew nobody would take him for that salary. Drafting him was poor. Picking up the option was piss poor. Getting rid of his salary with an "eh" pick for AK is good.
