There is no way in hell that the Bulls are trading Noah for Derrick Williams. Total pipedream.

I think it was pretty clear that the Bulls are committed to Noah when they let Asik walk for nothing in return.

Yup my thoughts exactly. If they were moving Noah, they wouldn't have let Asik walk...They still have championship ambitions, regardless if they are realistic with Rose out

The second trade was more realistic- unloading Noah and Boozer for Varejao and $18M of space (drops them below salary cap immediately). Wolves get Noah. Cavs get Boozer, Williams, Ridnour.

Your point about Asik and Noah is probably valid, although I don't see how Chicago gets anywhere in the playoffs with $40M worth of Deng, Boozer, and Noah.

Is there any way that Chicago can get a cheap center out of that trade? Probably not since we don't have any extra ones, nor does Cleveland. Would they want Steimsma when we are able to trade him after 90 days (or whatever the length is that we have to wait?) Probably not... huh?

Bummer. :(

Boom. In light of the Cleveland looking to move Varejao for Ridnour + Williams rumors, Chicago ditches $85M worth of Noah and Boozer, and picks up $25M worth of Samardo Samuels and Anderson Varejao (does a lot of the same things Noah does, but for less money).

So it's a money move for Chicago, Cleveland adds upside (Williams), a veteran backup PG (Ridnour), and solid post scoring (Boozer) and maybe scores a few draft picks in the deal.

Minnesota ends up with Noah who rounds out the best big man rotation in the league, bar none.

boy if we made this happen we would be LEGIT

This conversation reeks of inebriation.

But I approve of all the scenarios from the Wolves' perspective.

I enjoyed it. The giveaway is the skin tone, though.

Why would we do that? I'd rather have AV given the contract. AV is certainly much lower maintenance than Noah.

I think you'll need to photoshop him in with a bunch of Twilight fans to find people of similar pigmentation. I place the blame not on you, friend. Not on you.

Also, Pants- (from my perspective) Noah is much, much better than Varejao. More durable. Better defender (especially help side). Better leader. Fits well next to both Love and Pek. Noah is a winner, like Rubio. Good guy to have on your team. Varejao... would be a decent add, but is a good role player. Noah is like a +++role player.

My opinion.

If we could somehow legitimately trade for either Noah or Varejao, you take Noah and don't look back. It's not rocket science. Dude is a legit Center and a huge defense stud. And he's not bad offensively at all.

I would absolutely LOVE Noah playing with K-Lav and Pek. That would be the best front line in the entire NBA, easily.
