Some of our fave TWB members conducted a Summer Roundtable article on the main page. Great job guys, I really enjoyed this one.

My abbreviated thoughts:
1.) Is this the most anticipated season in Timberwolves history?
This is the one where I really disagreed with the commentators, aside from College Wolf. I think that the 2004-05 season was the undisputed most anticipated season in Wolves history. We had just come off a Western Conference Finals run and were bringing basically the same team back. Also, the 03-04 season was way up there, as were the Marbury/Garnett seasons.
2.) What is the team's upside this year?
I am in the Mike, John, and C. Wolf camp... i think a low playoff seed and 1st round exit is the most likely scenario. I would give us a better chance of not making the playoffs at all than being a top 4 seed. I don't see how you can realistically predict us being on top of all but one of the Clippers, Mavericks, Nuggets, and Spurs next year. I just don't think that is realistic - we have a lot of question marks.
3.) Which of our new acquisitions are you most excited about?
This is a tough one. I am way stoked about Roy, AK, and Shved!
4.) Will Ricky Rubio struggle when he returns, and how will that affect the team?
5.) Who will AK-47 use his exception on this year? Will she be from Minnesota?
I like how Pants is annoyed by this question

My hope would be Simone Augustus, Whalen, Wiggins, or Maya Moore, just because of the offspring potential.
6.) Is anyone a title contender besides Miami and Los Angeles? And who wins the NBA title this year?
No one gave Boston much love. I think they are a clear top 2 team in the East. I don't know how I feel about the Lakers v. the Thunder yet, but I would lean toward the Thunder. It seems like everyone just assumes the Heat will win it all again, but they are one big injury away from getting Rondo'd.
7.) LeBron or KD. If their teams are at the top, they will be too for MVP voting.
