Good to hear that B. Roy is coming back and no longer mulling retirement. Man if we can get him back, it will really solidify the SG position with him starting and Shved coming off the bench.

Roy has been doing light drills with the team but said there's no timetable for his return to the lineup. The Wolves have four games in the next five days, so he won't be back for that. He said he'll start to practice at full speed next week.

I doubt Roy will be back anytime in December.

So it just get's worse.

Lee is out with what could be very bad knees issues.

Howard has a fucked up knee now.

Love just re-injured his hand. X-rays are negative, but something else is wrong and maybe has been this whole time.

And just when our schedule is about to get brutally difficult. Oh lord, we are the most cursed team EVER.

:(
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Got some medical updates from Awolfamongwolves. Derok, please return for one post and tell if the worst case scenario really is Malcolm X-man going the way of Roy with a degenerative knee condition.

Whew, dodged a bullet with the Pekovic half-time injury false alarm.

Hmm it was probably already broken then, because it looks pretty messed up in that pic that Tod Murphy posted in the K-Lav thread. That was during the Jazz game.

3rd time he's broken a hand since being on the T-Wolves. His metacarpals must be made of porcelain. But I guess it doesn't help when you go around punching walls/refridgerators. He probably should have been wearing a padded glove this whole time, it's not like it could make his shooting any worse than it was already.

Yeah, if he wouldn't have been stubborn and just worn the glove like he was supposed to, I wonder if the hand would have healed properly/been protected and this would not have happened. Hard to say for sure, but he definitely didn't do himself any favors by refusing the wear the protective glove.

This is not good. It is hard to realistically see us making the playoffs right now. Some of the fringe West teams coming into the season like the Warriors, Rockets, and Blazers are doing way better than expected.

I wonder if Britt Robson feels like a massive idiot for writing that article before the season about how the wolves are the next OKC and heaping all that praise on Glen Taylor as if we'd already won a championship. It was foolish at the time, and looks a lot more stupid now.

Yeah, that is not going so well for him. Ha, understatement.

Man, this is crazy. Even AK47 is moaning now:

"The versatile, 6-foot-9 forward was always going to figure in as a major piece to the rotation, but he’s been invaluable in the wake of long-term injuries to forwards Chase Budinger and Kevin Love, among multiple other injuries such as to Brandon Roy and Malcolm Lee that have thrust the surprising Shved into a starter’s role at shooting guard. “We had some seasons when we had a lot of injuries, but this is something crazy,” said Kirilenko, whose scoring (13.4 ppg), rebounds (6.8) and minutes (34.8) are all his best since the 2005-06, and his 50.8 shooting percentage ranks as a career high. “We never played together [with a full roster] for even one game. It’s tough to play that way, but I guess this is the reality of NBA basketball.”

This is all Wally's fault (... not seriously, though...), his opening article for this season has put a jinx on us...

Just the list is absurd:
- Ricky
- Love
- (AK57)
- Pek
- Buddinger (out sincerly)
- Lee (out sincerly)
- Ridnour
- JJ
- Roy (out sincerly)
- Howard, who was bought in as a injury filler (out sincerly)
- Ricky (back spasms)
- Love again (now even more sincerly)
- Pek
- Shved

It's seem as we have more injured players then actual roster spots...
