That's one way to deal with all the crap calls! I'm surprised they let him get away with that steal.

Well good effort by the wolves, but it's tough to win when the refs have bet money on the other team.

No shit. That was terrible. If I cared more I'd be pissed. But it's just basketball and I gave up on balanced officiating long ago. It's what I expect.

The refs were really bad.

WHY did Barea do that down 1 with 30some seconds left to play?!?! WHY did he all of a sudden get all over Melo seemingly trying to get called for a foul?! They had less than 10 on the shot clock, and probably would've missed a long contested J, and we would've had the ball down 1 with 25 seconds left. Instead we give them 2 free points and the game is basically over. WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT?!?!

Our 2nd half O has been so much worse than our 1st half O in most games all season it isn't even funny.

1st Half = Getting into sets quickly, passing, cutting, movement, feeding the post.
2nd Half = Getting into sets slowly if at all, no movement, no cutting, no passing, minimal feeding of the post, just stagnation.

Here's something interesting. Remember how hard the refs were trying to award those last 2 free throws even though they were definitely meaningless and the game was clearly over?

The score was 94-91. The line on the game was Knicks -4.5. If the refs award those free throws (as they clearly were trying to do) and the knicks make both of them, somebody makes money on that game.

Apparently it wasn't Adelman that would have been making the money...I love his full postgame comments:
"I'm glad they got that last call right, and I'm glad they waited five minutes to make sure that the game was over," Adelman said in a terse postgame address that lasted fewer than 30 seconds. "That was good. It really made a big difference, making sure they got that one right. That's all I have to say. I'm not going to get fined, so I'm sorry."

Given that Rubio clearly is not in physical condition to handle ball pressure, and nobody else on our team is either strong enough or creative enough to blast past the defender when pressured, who is the best player available to pick up to deal with our inability to handle ball pressure? Someone with the Paul Pierce/Brandon Roy type of skillset is ideal... good handles and strong enough to keep defenders away and get a decent look.

Haven't seen Henderson vs. ball pressure... rumblings of JJ Redick... Who else? Turner's had some big games now so he's untouchable, but he's exactly the type of guy you need to handle the football defense they allow in these games lately. Someone from the Big Ten anyway, backcourt muggings are routine in that league.

Translation: read between the lines. You spent 5 minutes trying to figure out how to get the Knicks to beat the spread, and you think everyone watching is that dumb. Might as well be WWE at this stage.

VERY interesting. HOWL. It is hard to file this away as a "coincidence". Wow.
