I'm not sure, if I go along with you guys
- Firstly: To try the Roy-path was a fairly (`cause risky) shot, I guess, `cause if it had worked we would have had one of the most talented SG in the last 10 years nearly for free...
- Secondly: I'm not so sure, if Adelman would had like to have Majo in the team, cause he had a history of being a cancer for a team (not a team player). And as good as he plays individually right now, Dallas as a whole doesn't really play team-ball at all. In this regard he doesn't really seem to be a leader (which a healthy Roy surely would have been)
- Thirdly: Batum plays sensational non-egoistic, but success-relevant basketball right now. Not even is he playing good D, has made some huge buzzer-beat, he also is piling up his assists-ratio. He might be eveb a bigger reason than Lillard (or LA), that Portland is one of our bigger opponents. This shows, that it was a really o.k. move trying to get him (actually I would loved to see him and AK playing together - Imagine a line-up like Ricky-Batum-AK-Love-Pek)
So all in all the way, our managment handled off-season, is really fine for me, even if it hasn't worked out perfectly. But right now we have a young, super talented core (Ricky, Shved, Love, Pek) of players, guided by a real veteran (AK 47), and some hard-nosed players too (like Ham), and we're standing on a playoff-position in mid-season, even with many players not even be fully healthy or in rythm, so why bother?
