Wolves Record: 16-19 :(
Last Game: 98-113 loss to Mavs

I'm tempted to pick the Wolves because they always play the CLippers tough and it's at home, but our team is just too depleted right now. Clippers win.

-Bonk was closest (off by 11) and gets 2 TPs

-Bonk gets half a TP for his Ricky prediction

-CG gets a TP for his Barea prediction

5 TPs for guessing, 2 for closest

This will be the Clippers third road game in four nights. Hopefully, that gives us a small advantage.

Plus:
Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul didn't play Monday against the Memphis Grizzlies due to a bruised right knee cap.

Paul officially has been listed as day-to-day by the Clippers. The five-time All-Star injured his knee with 54 seconds left in the Clippers' 104-101 loss to the Magic on Saturday when he collided with Orlando guard J.J. Redick.

We'll have to see if CP3 plays tonight in Houston.

We are gonna get curb-stomped. The Clippers are good, and their bench is the best in the league. We, on the other hand, have sucked gigantic balls lately.

And it sounds like CP3 will be fine to play against us Thursday night, which is why they aren't having him play tonight.

TWolves 90 - Clippers 104

2. Solve for X: (A + B + C) / (D + E + F) = x

A = 13
B = 21
C = 9
D = 6
E = 15
F = 10

X = 1.387096774193548

3. 13 blocks
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Wolves 98

Is CP3 playing? He has missed the last 2 games. And AK & Shved are sick?

2: 37/29 (whatever that is, I'm in a rush...sorry Roundhouse) (9 + 20 + 8)/ (8 + 8 + 13)

3. 14 total blocks (9 LAC, 5 Minny)

Bonus: After having a few fun & optimistic nights thus far this season attending TWolves games with C. Wolf, this game will bring back the cynic...I will hear lots of bitching out of his yapper tomorrow.

I think a bit of cynicism is justified. The saying "don't count your chickens before they hatch" comes to mind. Everyone in the organization was beeming with pride at this team and getting praise heaped on them, "they're the next OKC!". It's very reminiscient of the Pritchslap-era Blazers, except the Blazers are actually run well enough to bounce back from all those injuries and disappointment. We'll see how the Wolves do.

Remember, this team hasn't made the playoffs since 03/04 (by far the longest playoff drought in the NBA) and despite having a really likeable team, they're not all that good. 10th place in the West and dropping fast and not a whole lot being done about it. With all the bad basketball we've had to suffer through in the past near-decade, having a likeable team isn't enough. I want to see a winning team, anything less is unacceptable.

Yep, this.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Howl.

God forbid that some superstar fighting injury or has some sort of suspension doesn't play against the Wolves. For some reason, they always do because the injury miraculously heals or the suspension ends

Roundhouse, I totally agree with you. I did not mean to imply that the disappointment is not mostly justified. Good post.

Wow, I didn't realize that we had the longest streak without making the playoffs in the whole league. Sucks x10000000000

Greetings, to all forum members with their magical predictions.

Returning from a short trip through southern Florida. I'm back to my neighborhood in the cold north east. Well, but happy to be back over here to continue discussing all incidents that occur with Wolves and try to hit the odd prediction.

Well let the mambo.

I ask; Some believe in miracles?

I do believe in miracles, but I will say that today there will be no miracle, today I think the Wolves should win fair and square after losing four straight games away from home.

Why do I think that?

First; I already mentioned, 4 defeats games are enough. They have to make an effort to get a win tonight with a sense of urgency. Even more, since the game will finally be on national television (TNT), this did not happen for many years, that a set of these Timberwolves are seeing by this broadcaster.

Second: I think with the absence of CP3 Bledsone alone may not dominate the three PG's of Minnesota, against Ricky Rubio (seems will be the starter today), Ridnour and JJ Barea (Caballito Spark Plug).
G Willie Green is not consistent at all and does not bother me much.

Third, If Dante tonight comes directly and getting his midrange shot to the basket. Also has been helping Pek in the tables, in rebounding and defending well, then the Wolves will be evenly matched in this game on low post.

The challenge will be to hold off Crawford and Barnes are feared players in this game. If thery can make Sheved and all others PG's, keep these two low in points and without much prominence, they should win this game but tight but fair and square.

Forget it to expect miracles because they have the quality and ability, they just have to know how to use tonight.

I hope Porter will turn on his bulb and can achieve decipher and know the weaknesses and find, know a execute the best options, because today I want to earn points for this prediction. lol

That said, with my fingers crossed, then the game should end like this:

Wolves 99 Clippers 96
! Help them Holy Virgin of Grace!

2. Solve for X: (A + B + C) / (D + E + F) = x

A = Chris Paul assists OUT No contest
B = Jamal Crawford points = 19
C = Blake Griffin rebounds = 7
D = Rubio assists = 9
E = Barea points = 26
F = Pek rebounds = 13

Blocks = 5

Bonus ;

Dante = Double Double = 16 points 10 Reb

Con mi prediccion estaremos . . .
"""""""""""GOZANDO""""""""""

Haha this is funny.

Also, is CP3 playing or not? Some people say he is, and some say he isn't.

EDIT: Rotoworld says he isn't playing. The game challenge will stay the same, just adjust your prediction accordingly.

1) Wolves 99 The Claps 107

2) A - CP assists = 8 (IF he plays!)
B - JC points = 10
C - BG rebounds = 7
* A + B + C = 25
D - RR assists = 7
E - JB points = 12
F - NP rebounds = 9
* D + E + F = 28
25/28 = X
* X = 0.89
3) 4 blocks

Bonus 1) - Dante's Shooting Percentage Inferno ends tonight with anything higher than his 33% performance against Dallas.
Bonus 2) IF Paul does not play tonight, the Wolves will find a way to win the game....

Revised # 2 in case Paul does not play:
A - CP assists = 0
B - JC points = 10
C - BG rebounds = 7
* A + B + C = 17
D - RR assists = 7
E - JB points = 12
F - NP rebounds = 9
* D + E + F = 28
17/28 = X
* X = 0.607

Ricky was in starter whites this morning. Hopefully that means he's going to start. It would be good for him. Get him in a rhythm early
