Man, I'm so close to giving up on this team. I don't see any other teams around the league that are/would use injuries as an excuse to mail in an entire season. It's not like we are the Heat and if Lebron went down w/ an injury we would know that we could stand pat and wait for next season to contend again. The Wolves haven't made the playoffs in nearly a decade and Love has never made the playoffs in his career. Even if this team were completely healthy (a big IF considering the injury histories of Love, AK, Pek, etc) they're still only a fringe playoff team. Glen Taylor can't sell this team fast enough so we can stop being a laughingstock. Unfortunately by the time that happens, Adelman will be gone, Love will be gone, AK will be gone, and we'll be neck deep in another rebuild. As for this game, Wolves lose again. Kyrie 35+ points.

Wow, we are 7 point underdogs. The worst part about these games lately is we are not showing much heart or tenacity. I mean I am not seeing any loafers ala Mark Blount or Dorko Milibitch, or spaced out guys ala Mike Beasley or Ricky Davis, but we just seem kind of defeated and indifferent. We know the playoffs aren't happening, so in a lot of ways it's like the season is already over. This sucks.

Flash - It does not get much/any worse. This franchise has had the worst of (largely self-induced) fortunes over the last 10 years and it isn't even close. The Bobcats have made the playoffs more recently than the Wolves and have a reputable GM running the team. The Wolves have lost 15 of 17 games in a year where we were supposedly rid of deadweight guys who wouldn't step up in times of injury, and we were supposed to be competitive in the playoffs despite the injuries. We lost to Charlotte and Washington in back to back games. The Sacramento KINGS have more wins than the Wolves. They have to sell tickets to the Heat game as a 2 for 1 deal!

The Wolves front office has not been able to put together a team that finishes in the top 53% of the western conference in NINE YEARS. Think about that! More teams make the playoffs than don't!!! It isn't that hard!!! Every team other than the Wolves has made the playoffs since Saunders was fired (the tipping point). Every team.

The Wolves may be due to get some help from Stern in the lottery, but even then Kahn will 100 billion percent pass on McLemore/Mohammed, two guys who would absolutely change this franchise for the better as the lone bright spot to this disaster, in favor of Mason Plumlee or Cody Zeller. If he takes Zeller, he will let Pek walk for nothing while Portland snags him and becomes a West contender for the rest of the decade while we watch Zeller average 8 and 6 for 5 years before trading him for some washed up guy drafted in '07. He will then keep his job, getting the "injury" pass even though he wasted $5 million on Brandon Roy (no small amount of money to wipe your ass with by the way... imagine if you made a FIVE MILLION DOLLAR mistake at your current job?!?!?!?!), who he is trying BUY OUT like the slimeball that he is, rather than let him collect on the money he moronically promised him.

Pity party? Damn right. Sick of it.

There are supposedly some big time skeletons on Kahn that are potentially slowly making their way out to the public eye. I've asked around the various media "sources" I have and lips are sealed. This guy is horrible on so many levels it is beyond comprehension. I would buy season tickets for 5 years straight if we got McHale back at this point.
