...and you probably refer to Wu Tang as old school rap, you may or may not refer to Backstreet Boys as "classic rock," you have no idea who Sugar Hill Gang was. You missed the Twin Towers of the NBA, and you don't remember that before there was Hakeem Olajuwon there was Akeem Olajuwon and his rivalry with Patrick Ewing was legit. You forgot that when Jordan left the game people thought maybe Barkley would be the best in basketball, or maybe Drexler, or someone like that. Then Olajuwon got serious and it wasn't even close for two years. He was easily the most dominant player in the game. Plus he observed Ramaddan and al that jazz, and was always a super humble guy. Then Jordan came back and made us all forget because he was a whole different species of basketball player. I don't care what anyone says, LeBron is still way, way behind Jordan's level of "I can do whatever I want whenever I want."
Yao is only cool because he was created in a lab for the spectacle and enjoyment of 1 billion+ people. A ChineseTruman Show if you will.
Olajuwon... dude could play.
