I watched Robocop again for the first time in god knows how long. It wasn't quite as kick-ass awesome as I thought I remembered, but it's by no means a bad movie. Solid enough action too, for being 25 years old.

I thought The Hobbit was pretty good. I liked all the Lord of the Rings movies better, but that was to be expected. The Hobbit is waaaaay shorter of a book than the trilogy, and it was meant more for children than LotR. A bit long for a movie that is going to be part of a trilogy, but still a pretty solid movie all-around.

Ohhhh man, Expendables 2 on Blu Ray + Big screen + Surround sound = sooooo awesome. Great movie. Gotta love all those old-timer action stars. At least, I know I do.

Expendables 3 definitely needs some Steven Segal, Wesley Snipes, and Hulk Hogan (lol!) Maybe even some Nic Cage? Clint? Mel Gibson? Vin Diesel? The Rock? Samuel L?!?

Yea those are good picks. Also like Sam Jackson, Nic Cage, and Vin Diesel. I don't think Clint would do an Expendables movie and never considered Mel Gibson to be an action star. The Rock is too young and a really popular movie star, but who knows.

Fearless was really good. Definitely one of the better Jet Li movies, I think. At least, I really enjoyed it. If anyone was wanting to watch it, I watched the Director's Cut which is like 40+ minutes longer than the theatre version. And reading the IMDB boards, apparently the DC is by far the most superior version of the movie to watch.

Finally started watching the first season of Breaking Bad. This show rocks soooo hard.

Went to This Is 40 with Mrs. CW. It was decent, but not great or super duper hilarious. Good enough flick to see with a chick friend though, I guess I'd say.

No discussion of Django? Awesome film. Certainly quite long, but good. Believe the hype.

Christoph Waltz is just....brilliant. Easily one of the best actors I have ever seen. Foxx was good of course, but that movie is average without Waltz. I hope he remains a Tarantino mainstay. Just the way the guy delivers his lines just captivates you some how.

I picked up Get the Gringo on bluray at Best Buy for $5 because I wanted to see it. It's one of the better action movies that have come out in recent years. Mel is such a great actor. It's a shame that everyone hates him so much and this movie didn't even come out in theaters in the US because of that. If you liked Payback then you'll definitely like this movie, it's pretty much Payback 2. 8/10
