Watched The Last Boyscout again for the first time in ages. They should have made it a Die Hard sequel, because that's basically what it is anyways. But I'm not complaining because it's a good movie, and funny.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Have any of you guys seen In Bruges before? I hadn't seen it, but had heard good things about it. Finally watched it and it's pretty solid. Not the typical Hollywood movie, and worth your time. Easily one of Colin Farrell's best movies, if not the best one.

Great dialogue, and funny too.

I rented it awhile back, CW, and you are absolutely right. It was a very different movie, but I liked it.

For sure, it's good. Definitely worth anyone's time.

16 Blocks is a pretty good flick; I just watched it again. Great work by Bruce Willis, and Mos Def is really good in it too. Has anyone else seen it before?

CW, this is one of the best "accidental buddy" flicks ever. Willis is just trying to finish out his pension. He and Def bond and Bruce Willis realizes that there is some BS going on.

I love the ending - Mos Def sends the birthday cake to Willis . . .

Absolutely killer ending!

Excellent casting, as well!

Aloha! Here's another excellent Bruce Willis flick that probably doesn't get enough creds. I read the book first and was very pleasantly surprised to discover that they kept the story line, etc., of the movie so close to the book.

The bar where the final scene takes place was a really popular bar/restaurant in inland Orange County, CA, called "Cook's Corner". Very popular with bikers and with tourists alike. I was there several times back in the '70s. It's in Trabuco Canyon.

In the movie, it appears to have been shut down and abandoned, however, googling it tonight, it appears to be alive and well!

The movie is 'Hostage."

Yeah, that's a good movie too. I have it, but haven't watched it in quite a while. I might have to do that again since you brought it up!

Watched Safe House again. All in all, it's pretty good. Denzel is the man.

I saw Sinister. It was actually pretty good and scary. The ending was meh but it didn't ruin the rest of the movie. 7/10

Other movies I've seen are Life of Pi and Flight. Life of Pi was decent, but not really sure what the target audience is supposed to be. It's definitely not a kid's movie. 6/10

Flight was good, but way different than I thought it would be. 7/10

Cool cool, thanks. I'll probably Redbox Flight at some point, but not Life of Pi I don't think. I never really had much urge to watch it in the first place.

I know I've posted about this movie here before, but Doomsday is just soooooo awesome and underrated. I don't think I know anyone besides Roundhouse that has seen it before. I love it. You can go buy the Blu Ray at Best Buy for $6.99... plus with that you get a free movie ticket to the upcoming "Oblivion", which also looks pretty cool. 9/10

I also saw Olympus Has Fallen which was pretty cool action-wise. Good fighting and whatnot, but I wouldn't say it was a spectacular overall movie. I still liked it though. 7.5/10

And lastly, I recently saw G.I. Joe Retaliation, because I had a free movie ticket for it. Not the greatest movie in the world by any means, but pretty solid action and fight scenes. Also, for what it's worth, it was waaaaaay infinitely better than the first G.I. Joe movie. 6.5/10

Doomsday never gets old. I just watched it again and have it seen it like 4 or 5 times now.
