So what was the point of the rocking chair? I thought for sure there was going to be a bomb or a camera or something in it.

I'm not sure either.

But a great season 4 finale from the best show on TV. Man I love Justified.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Justified is that DEAL. Man, how good were the portrayals of both Raylan and Boyd at the end. Both were too depressed to enjoy a victory they otherwise would have absolutely loved. Boyd broke into the home he'll never get to raise kids in. Raylan repaired the wall in the house that never felt like home. Boyd loses his pride and the love of his life (the ONLY two things he had) while gaining the prize he THOUGHT was the most important - the Harlan drug trade. Raylan loses his dad, his wife (again, and for real this time), and any remaining notions of his upstanding morality while gaining what he THOUGHT was the most important - the biggest bust of his career and legendary Marshall status.

Did I interpret that all pretty well or not?

Ol boy that got plugged up in the limo (name escapes me) was a pretty good bad guy to kill off. They should have brought him into the series earlier. I cannot imagine how much regret the Harlan police guy and Morgue owning-ass dude are going to be when Boyd cuts them apart limb by limb.

Very eloquently stated. Could not agree more.
