I thought that episode was really good too, and if I had to say, I think it was mostly about character development (namely Carl and Michonn) and some guns too. I don't think Morgan will be back in any episodes, although I guess ya never know.

Yea that was a great episode. It was a throwback to season 1. It was nice not to have to watch all that stupid Governor/Woodbury/Andrea bullshit for once. I wish that storyline would hurry up and die

The drama between characters is played out. Merle tries to have a conversation with Glen and the crew about a disagreement and Glen acts like he is on Days of Our Lives or something with his dramatic responses.

They followed up the best episode of the season with the worst. Man that episode was so horrible and boring, I just wanted it to end. Not a single thing happened. Please hurry up and kill off the Governor and Andrea so we can move onto something interesting.

They are setting up the next few episodes to make Rick regret his decisions; like that group of people who wanted in on the prison now joining the governor. They are going to do something to get back at Rick or make him a martyr for turning them down.

Part of what makes the Governor unlikable was the casting choice. That guy just isn't pulling off the role. Someone like Willem Dafoe fo example....a guy who has a natural scowl.....would have made the plotline better.

PS....have been poking around and for those of you who who are unaware of the writing dyamics....Season 2 (AKA the bad one) was written by a film writer dude who was canned midseason and replaced by a TV writing veteran who then went on to rescue the show, add action, etc. Well, that new guy has now left the show, and is now being replaced by some guy who again plans to "slow down the show" and focus on "character development." Can't find the link but read it the other day. So, not great news.

For some reason these writers think it's interesting to turn the main characters into complete morons. Then of course there will be a big firefight and the Governor will die, and hopefully Andrea too.

Sort of off topic - but I would highly, highly, highly recommend a playthrough of The Walking Dead video game. Not the dumb one on the website they advertise on TV but the one on XBOX Live, etc. with the episodes. It is very story driven and there are some bugs/continuity errors in conversations, etc. but it was a very well done game and I thouroughly enjoyed. Light on the action though, so some who prefer only shooters, etc may not enjoy. I would say the acting and characters in the game story outdoes the actual series. A sequel is planned for next year.

This week's episode takes the crown from last week's episode as the worst of the season. Weeeeee lets watch Andrea run through the woods for 40 minutes so much fun. They are milking every last drop out of this storyline. At this rate the battle is never going to happen. AMC please hire some competent writers for season 4.
