I've got a little beef with that article. It's this statement :
...know that only one star player in the last 15 years has won the NBA Finals the year after being traded: that player was Antoine Walker. Walker was fortunate enough to land on a team with Shaq and Dwyane Wade, so we can hardly credit him with the success of the Heat that year.
I don't know if any were watching but Walker was a huge factor in the series against NJ where had he not had the impact he brought, the Heat would've been sent home. Plus, Walker was the 2ND LEADING SCORER IN THE NBA FINALS BEHIND DWYANE WADE. He picked up a very worthless and ordinary Shaq that year....
So while Walker didn't set the house a-fire that year, he delivered when his Team needed it the most so I disagree that Walker should NOT be credited with the Heat's winning of a Championship.
Aside from that, GREAT ARTICLE!
