Wow... the Celtics owned. Looks like they are back after a minor hiccup in the schedule.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

That KG dunk in the 4th was the best dunk I think I've seen him throw down in a few years.

The Daddy had a wonderful time watching this game. From the beginning, one thing was very clear. Ray Allen is much more important than his point total may indicate. In the first half, the Rockets clogged the middle up wonderfully as there was very little spacing for the Celtics. TA wanted to drive, Rondo wants to drive, Pierce wants to drive, etc. That extra defender in the lane was key to keeping the game very close.

And then the better team just kept doing what they do, wearing out the mirage that is the success of the Rockets. Defensively, the Celtics do so much the right way. It's just that extra 3-6 inches of recovery, help side, contested jumpers, deflections, etc. It's all the extra degree of effort.

Several observations:

1. Rondo and Alston can't fight, Charles was right. You don't put your fists at your waist if you really want to fight. Laughable.

2. Scola plays like a veteran. Won't ever be great, but he's a good player.

3. At times I can't figure out why I don't put Pierce in the top category of wings.

4. KG's dunk in the fourth got no love....Top ten of the year.

5. Rondo played mediocre...Cassell played like poo.

6. Posey gets no credit. He's still everything Hassell ever wanted to be.

7. Perkins is the least coordinated offensive player I've ever seen. If he gathers himself for 15 seconds again only to find himself covered by then I'll punch the TV.

8. McGrady got dominated. Bad game.

9. KG's post game interview when asked about Glen's comments were hilarious. Good sh*t.

I am still convinced that The Celtics will prevail in the East and have a very good chance of winning it all. If they don't, then I'm picking Detroit. The west is going to beat each other up too much. They will all be worn out...
