•KG is concentrating very hard defensively on helping defend Joe Johnson and any other penetrators. Every game Josh Smith sees the same thing - Wide open shots or lanes because KG is blatantly ignoring him. I’m not sure how I feel about that but it’s making Josh Smith look like he’s scoring on people much easier than he is. However you slice it, there are very few players in the league I’d like to build around in the front court over Mr. Smith. He’s a beast.
•KG has gone to the hole more often than I thought he would but Josh Smith is causing him to alter his shots EVERY time. Against more traditional forwards, KG is going to reap the benefits in the form of free throws because of this. I hope he keeps it up next round.
•(Again on KG, get the trend? Other than Ray and Rondo, I don’t have strong feelings about em) Garnett conserves SOOO much more energy it’s ridiculous. In the 4th, the 2 or 3 shots he takes are controlled, he’s got lift, and he hits them. Defensively he’s still alert as well. I’m so used to seeing a worn out half worthless rebounder and scorer.
•Rondo is good.
•Perkins is not.
•I take that back, Perk is fine defensively most of the time.
•Josh Childress is the new Leon Phelps. He looks like the Ladies’ Man.
I've been waiting for some new insight from The DaDDy! Square bulletpoints and everything.... love it.
