The \"dunk\" at 2:11. It's a put back where he jumps from just inside the free throw line and just kinda throws it through the hoop. I got to see that game on TV and I always thought that was the coolest put back I've ever seen.

I remember watching that too. Nice link.

I should probably add this to the \"Web Videos\" archive.

Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

I dunno if I have an actual favorite moment. There were soooo many. My top three are probably all parts of the 03-04 playoff run.

@ Ryan's Video Link:
Thanks for linking that. Nice videos...that putback reminds me why I usually comment moves by KG like that with the phrase \"Go-Go-Garnetto-Arm\" (reference to cartoon character Inspector Gadget). So my favorite KG move of all time is a ferocious putback as well, but it was not featured in that video and I do not know if I will find it somehwere on YouTube.I would also like to add that I have seen that putback Ryan mentioned as well because...

...I'm giggling with the fact that probably the only other German Timbervolves / KG-Fan in Germany must have made that video. Maybe I should e-mail him or something :D !

Game 7, Western Conference Finals...

KG leaping up onto the scorers table and celebrating with the fans. It's never gotten better than that...

Although the time I met him is right up there too. My best friend's brother-in-law worked at the gym at Fairleigh Dickinson University and KG, Duncan, and T-Mac were shooting an adidas commercial there. So he called us up and we waited outside for KG.

When T-Mac and Duncan walked out they just shook our hands and went their way. When KG came out, he would've done the same thing, but I said \"Hey Kevin, I made \"One Shot\". He stopped for a moment to think and was like \"Oh shoot! That was you!\" And then he stopped and talked to us for a while. It was unbelievable!

I don't get very star-struck. Bobby Abreu (however you spell it) stopped by the hospital the other day to see the kids and I was like \"whatever\". I stuck around to see him to say I saw him, but I didnt' really care. But meeting KG - that was surreal!

That Game 7 (not western conference finals though :P ) was probably my favorite moment too. That was just incredible. Soooo amazing.

That's awesome you met KG, Duncan, and T-Mac. I had no idea! Was that just a few years ago I take it?

Yeah, I meant Western Conference Semi-Finals.

Yeah I met them during the summer before the 2003-2004 season. We had just landed Sprewell in addition to Cassell and KG was really pumped!

Sorry to go off topic here, but had to say hello Dave, this here's Matt McCabe typing at you. It's nice (and surprising) to see that people have given you an opportunity to voice opinions - ha, ha. Must be gratifying to contribute to a blog about a sports franchise that traded away its identity for the nucleus (sans Pierce) of a team that won 24 games last year.

Anyhoo, thought I'd share an opinion about my fav. KG moment, even if it's a duplicate. Had to be his performance in Game 7. I don't recall another player dominating on both ends of the court like he did in that 4th quarter. It was especially nice to hear KG's two main detractors, Magic Johnson and Charles Barkley finally recognize KG's greatness. Of course the moment is somewhat tainted by the following series with LA and subsequent two years of fallout - by the way, has there ever been a more agonizing departure for a player than that of KG from Minnesota - but at least Twolves fans have that singular moment of distinction, of pure unadulterated glee. It was pretty cool.

Wow... hey man, long time no see! Ha! If I may ask, what brought you to these parts?

Who would have ever thought the past three seasons would have unfolded like they did? Especially after KG's Game 7 dominance against the Kings. Ahhh man, I remember everyone picking the Wolves as the pre-season Western Conference favorite the year after their WC Finals loss. What a tumultuous fall. Oh well, at least we'll always have those few weeks were KG was shutting up all the critics. That was nice.

P.S. Amazing that they actually let me \"contribute\" huh? ;)

Hey everyone,

I didn't have the chance to enjoy KG as much as most of you here did. I was never really into basketball in general for the longest time. Occasionally I saw a T-Wolves game on TV and watched it for 5 minutes or so... not too interesting at the time.

However, in 2003-2004, during my 2nd year of college, I heard that the Wolves were really good and going to go into the playoffs. I watched every playoff game that year and after that, I was hooked.

From 2004 onwards, I have watched literally every Wolves game (mostly on TV), and any that were blacked out at home I always went to. I had to suffer the loss of Wally. Last season, my brother and sister (who got hooked but not to the extent that I did) decided that KG was going to be traded after the end of the 2006-2007 season, so we made it a priority to go to as many games as we could. It was so amazing watching KG in person.

I remember getting row 4 seats during a Suns game last year. That was something else.

My favorite KG moment was during a Suns game at home (December) where the Suns had not lost for nearly a month. During the 4th quarter, KG simply went nuts, and he could do no wrong. The crowd was really into it, and I didn't sit down for the whole quarter. I'll always remember that moment.

That being said, I am still a fan and I will watch the new team this year, as well as many Celtics games as I can. I hope KG gets his ring and I am forever grateful for his loyalty to Minnesota.

Chris

Yes, KG was absolutely amazing during that Suns game. He was a monster. It was quite a sight to behold. I don't think he'd really dominated like that since the 03-04 WCF run.

Anyhow, welcome to the board... as it's always good to see new faces! Hopefully you'll continue to post. B)
