Wow, much like us. However, more desirably... they signed these guys to Non-Guaranteed contracts. Also, they have two guys among their original 15 players with Non-Guaranteed contracts. They've got options. Nice, good for them.

*Also, I think Batista could turn into a GREAT signing...

Completely agreee with College Wolf (like most times)...

~ smart(er) management down there, handing out non-guarantueed contracts!

~ Batista is a potential steal that could pay out for Boston.

As many others, I would have prefered if they have added a proven 2nd string PG instead of two forwards, but I had no idea whom they should have signed to improve on that position and maybe they are right in believing that both Pierce and Allen can bring up the ball from time to time in that threa-headed-moster-offence.

I don't see what the problem with paying as many players as possible?? Why shouldn't we lock EVERYONE into long term deals just in case we want them in the future? Its what we did with Wittman, although I would've liked to see him sign for more years just in case...

If things reach a point where the player's/coaches/GMs services are no longer desired, we can always just buy them out like we did with T-Hud. Its sooo much easier than having to DECIDE who we want to keep and who we don't!!! In fact, we should lock up McHale until 2027 just in case we want him for that long. I think he's been doing a good job of implementing this strategy so far, so now he gets to reap the rewards of his *hard* work!

Wow, I didn't realize until today that they got D. Jones?? Wow. That good be good for them. Didn't he have any other suitors? I always thought he was a pretty explosive backup PG option that could really bring some things to the table. I think he is one of the cockiest & ost obnoxious players in the league, but still....to sign him as a 15th man? Nice work by the C's.
