Great stuff.

I LOVE this yearly column:

Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

One thing... I think Big Al is too low. Possibly because of some weird complex Simmons has because he got traded from Boston. He's ranked 21st. Here are the guys above him that I WOULDN'T trade Jefferson for:

19. Paul Pierce - Too old and too overpaid.
16. Ginobli - Too old, not a franchise player.
15. Baron Davis - Too injury prone and too overpaid.
14. Carmleo Anthony - Too gay.
6. Steve Nash - Too old... and why have him without Big Al on our team?
3. Tim Duncan - Too old.

Not everyone will agree with me, but it's just my thoughts.

I agree with most of them.

Melo is definitely a loser, but is probably a better player. And Duncan is Duncan no matter if he is older.

You also have to look at things from the other team's standpoint. I don't think that those other teams would trade those players for Big Al, simply because of how important they are to their team's success right now. San Antonio's not going to part with Ginobili now just because Jefferson may be an awesome player down the road. Teams with a chance to do something right now aren't going to mess that up for the future.

Yeah, I agree with that assessment. Your thoughts do need to be factored in. However, Simmons logic is that anyone above #21 we would definitely take for Big Al in a 1 for 1 trade. I know it's not completely 100% fool proof though.
