I would hate playing in Utah too, but let's go Big Al. He looks pretty average.

Roundhouse, perhaps you were joking, but do you still seriously suggest we should have built around Al Jeezy and traded the main cog in our WTP, Love Handles? Love has looked just ok, but Al is looking no better.

In true level-headed Daddy form, let's revisit the Big Alcoholic after about 20 games. By then, we'll know what he's working with.

I never said to build around Al. That would be stupid. I said that Al is better than Love (which he is) but that Love fits our team better and agreed with everyone else that Al needed to be traded.

But going off your point, if I was running this team Al would still be on it because Mayo would be at SG and we would have never had a PF controversy. There would be no Flynn or half of the other guys we have right now. So my opinion is meaningless.

It's easy for us to say what could happen with running any given sport team in hindsight, but I can also confidently say that if I were running this team I'd also have Al Jefferson + OJ Mayo, for whatever that's worth.

I still think that would be a sick combination that could be built around. Makes me sad. Oh well, not much we can do about it. :(
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Oh, and Jefferson had another decent game dropping 23 and 10 against the Thunder.

I think he'll be good in Utah as many of us have suspected. I'll chaulk up that first terrible game to nerves and new surroundings and whatnot. But yeah, 25 games or so should be a good indicator of what he'll be like this season for the Jazz.

Oh...well then. My point is that building AROUND either of them is not a winning formula, I guess. Complimentary players.

If I were running the team we'd be playing KG 40 minutes a night still on one knee, winning 20 games a year and signing Trenton Hassell to appease KG.

I watched the second and third quarter of the Jazz. Jeffs looked good in the second half. He's an awfully small center, I wonder how he'll do against a player like Tyson Chandler. We'll see soon enough. 12 free throws is unlike him. If he keeps that up they'll be happy with him. They blew the Thunder out though - those are easy stats games. I just expected him to come out the gates dropping 30 points.
