That would be fun too. I'm game for whatever!
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

I really just came to point out how awesome Turbo was last night for the Mavs. However, I like this playoff bracket stuff.

Even after thinking about Stern's comments for awhile, they are completely and utterly out of pocket. Can you imagine if Van Gundy or anyone with some semblance of power publicly criticized Walmart and hearing the Walmart CEO say something to him like that? Never. It's a joke. Time to pull an Egypt or Libya and oust this son of a bitch.

No kidding. Even then, it's about 5 years too late.

Dwight Howard gets a lot of grief from people, and a lot of it unfair (tsk tsk Daddy), but holy crap he's awesome. I don't care if he lacks some offensive finesse, and maybe needs some work on his passing and/or cutting down on turnovers. He is still amazing at every other facet of the game. He's a legit top 5 MVP candidate for sure, and the only reason Orlando is as good as they are. He carries that team. We are watching (what I think will eventually be determined) one of the best big men in the history of the NBA coming into his prime. Damn, I wish he was on the Wolves, and he's still one of my favorite players in the league.

Oh, and all the stuff about him complaining from getting fouled? People give him a hard time about that and say he's a "whiner" or "baby" or whatever... but consider this: He has been fouled more times than ANYONE else in the entire league this year (He gets fouled almost 10 times per game), and not once were ANY of the fouls against him called a flagrant. Have you seen him get fouled? He gets hacked to shit. And he has the most technicals in the NBA, a lot of which are complaining about how badly he gets hacked. It's complete BS. Van Gundy was totally right.

It should be Rose or Howard for MVP. Both are deserving IMO.

Yup, agreed on Dwight. He's still a sissy, though. Consider the shoes he's filling. Shaq Diesel wouldn't dream of crying that often.

Also, I guess the main reason I talk poorly of him is his work ethic. I am making huge assumptions here but I just don't think he gets it. I'm 90% sure that he works out his body twice as hard as, let's say Hakeem did. I'm also 90% sure that he works out, half as hard as Hakeem did in the gym. His lack of actual skill is glaring. Imagine if he had ACL surgery and lost his athleticism. You see with KG and Duncan, the loss of athleticism has meant reliance on intelligence and skills. Dwight is going to be terrible once that goes.

In other news, the Celtics held the Bucks to 9 points in the first quarter. KG and Paul Pierce look like they need a week off. they look like crap. KG looks like he's playing with a weighted vest on.

Ok, fair enough. I can accept this. Good rebuttal my friend.

Well, I now like Marko even more. He's a nice, caring guy. Maggette, Brand, Kaman too.

The Clips continue to just be a first rate organization. I hope Gordon and Griffin leave them with nothing.

Wow thanks for posting. My goodness....nice of the guys to do that. Imagine being a Clippers fan.....and then imagine if times were rough to be able to root for the Lakers instead, and potentially now, drive down the 101 and see the Kings...

Rough basketball life.

The whole Van Gundy v. Stern thing angers me. I love the way StanVan speaks his mind. Stern is a smug, arrogant, corporate man who only cares about the bottom line & having as much control and power as possible. It's all about money & power for Stern, but unlike The Lox, you get no respect.

D12 has grown a lot on me this season. I always hated him, even early this season. This year, however, I have gained a lot more respect for him. More to come on this at a later date.

I don't mind Dwight. He is one of 80-85% of the NBA who "doesnt get it" so that doesn't upset me. LeBron upeets me on a whole new wavelength with his clownery. Watching Miami get sacked in the 2nd round will be enjoyable. You can only work as hard as your mind will let you.

Stan Van is amazing in nearly every way.

"This is the system David Stern and his minions like," Van Gundy said. "So that's the system you have. ... I certainly can't have an opinion because David Stern, like a lot of leaders we've seen in this world lately, don't really tolerate other people's opinion or free speech or anything. So I'm not really allowed to have an opinion. So it's up to him.

"He decides and he likes the system he has."

Stern initially told Cowherd he would not respond to Van Gundy, but then said: "I'm going to engage in private discussions at this point with this franchise."

After that, asked if Van Gundy's comments bothered him personally, Stern said: "It didn't bother me personally. I see somebody whose team isn't performing, whose star player was suspended, who seems to be fraying ..."

Stern added: "... Whatever the pressures are that Stan is feeling, that he fell to whatever position he's in to say something like this, it made me sad."

Might want to check the breaks on your car before you drive into the mountains Stan.

$tern is such an idiot, his comments just prove Stan right.

And then he takes a shot at the Magic? Really? Have you ever heard another commissioner in any sport take a jab at one of his teams that's not performing well. Just goes to show he only cares about the Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, etc.

As if we didn't all already know, Stern sucks:

Fear and loathing of David Stern
