Love Crib Midget's nicknames.

This page is full of self-assigned nicknames. Since when does anyone other than Ruben Patterson call Ruben Patterson "the Kobe Stopper"?

Did his teammates at Champville last year give him respect, thinking, "Man, if we played the Lakers we'd be set, because we have Ruben Patterson to shut down Kobe."

Finally, I completely disagree with that nickname because it makes Kobe the only player that is the sole reason for another player's having a nickname. Jordan should have first dibs on this, then maybe Kareem or Wilt. "The Kobe Stopper" ...sounds like a women's self-defense accessory. Like maybe a taser gun model or pepper spray brand or something.
