Flynn and Ellington for Mayo is a no brainer move. Flynn is awful and his upside is that of a decent backup PG at best and Ellington is too limited and will never be more than a fringe rotation player.
Mayo would actually be pretty ideal as a PG in the triangle. Not to mention he can't be any worse than the shooting guards we have now. Also with Ridnour and Mayo holding down the fort at PG that would allow us to (finally) trade Bassy to the Knicks or whatever.
Ehhh, Not so sure about that. Rambis will probably just try to turn him into something he's not. What makes you think they'd use him to his strengths? Also, when Webster was coming back from his back injury, we saw glimpses of what he can do. He's far from the crap we see now. He just is being used terribly. I'd try to get Mayo without giving up Webster. There is no reason to believe he'd be much better.
