That's (wrongly) called a foul in the NBA every single time.

That's because in the NCAA all the University Presidents and Conference Commissioners keep all the money, unlike $tern who pays his refs under the table.

In the NCAA they end games that have a second or two left. It has happened 2-3 times in high profile games in the last 3 weeks. There are mistakes and there is incompetence. NCAA refs skew towards incompetence and are drastically worse than NBA ones.

The NCAA guys to WAAYYY more meddling on last play situations. I'd expect that video to be called way more in college than in the NBA. I will say where the NCAA guys try to insert themselves is more sneaky than the NBA. It is in garage charges and off the ball stuff where as the NBA guys like to screw up shooting fouls.

I think the NCAA refs are probably better overall. Probably because the college game is easier to ref, since the athletes aren't as big/strong/fast as they are in the NBA.

I think those were the right calls at the end of the Pittsburgh loss. It doesn't matter how much time is left on the clock, a foul is a foul and that's the way it should be. That Pitt guy was an epic moron for what he did fouling him 92 feet from the basket with 1 second left.

The mistakes the NCAA refs make seem to be honest mistakes, whereas in the NBA they call whatever they want and control the pace of the game. I like the fact that a foul is a foul in NCAA no matter who does it and on what part of the court it takes place. Unless Duke is playing of course, in which case they are immune to being called for fouls
