The fact that the Piston's have been so unsuccessful with Stuckey in the starting lineup makes me weary. Out side of that there is nothing specific yeah or ney for me to add.

9. Thad Young

Big Baby gets the nod over Chandler. You help a winning team win and step up in big situations, you get the nod.

*2007 Draft trivia that will make you want to bash your head in: with the 41st pick in the 2007 draft, the Minnesota Timberwolves selected Chris Richard and passed on Marc Gasol.

I would have to think either Wilson Chandler, Landry or Dudley would be next but I figured I'd go with the surprise sleeper since the NBA is a "what have you done for me lately" league.

It's a point guard league and he has been tearing it up on a really bad team. How do you get as many as assists as him when no one on the team can shoot?

Yeah, I really like the Afflalo pick to. His defense is stellar. I wanted to pick Wilson Chandler next, but I think the correct pick has to be Rodney Stuckey. He's a very good/legit PG. He should lead the Pistons for years to come. He'd be a stud on the TWolves.

I actually was thinking about that today- how well would he fit in on our team? Wouldn't he almost be a lower risk version of OJ Mayo? I would be 100% behind a trade for Stuckey, something like Ellington, Utah's protected First, and... for Stuckey? What do you guys think it would take? Would we need to give up an asset like this year's 1st or Beasley? Would it be worthwhile?

Pretty soon you fill the entire spectrum of players (Pure PG, PG/SG, Pure SG, SG/SF, Pure SF, SF/PF, Pure PF, PF/C, Pure C) and a coach can't help but play 5 guys who can make do with each other, I mean, right?

I honestly have no idea what it would take to trade for him, but I have to imagine he's one of the building blocks for Detroit, along with Daye and Greg Monroe. I don't think they would *want* to trade Stuckey, but if so the TWolves should be all over it.

Their finances are in shambles... any chance we could help them out financially and get Stuckey as well? Perhaps give them some pick(s) and guys like Flynn/Ellington/etc?
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

I'm probably overvaluing Stuckey here... I just like the idea of a guy who can hold the fort down at PG and then slide over to a backup or SG position without sucking and/or pissing off the whole Rubio camp. Maybe I'm the only one.

I don't think you are over-valuing him at all. He's got legit size (6'5" and like 205 lbs) and is a very good PG. He puts up some pretty great stats when that idiot coach Kuester isn't jerking around his minutes.

You can blame that on Coach Kuester. He's hands down my choice for the worst coach in the NBA. Look at his minutes and rotations. Old veterans and guys that will be free agents are playing more minutes than their young core guys. And the lineups are never the same or consistent. Just a disaster.

Man, poor guy is getting shafted! :silly: Seriously though, I like his game a lot. And if you could get him at #12 in this fake re-draft that we are doing, well then hell, that is a great pick. I'd like him on the Wolves, but no way he signs with us as a free agent this off-season unless we super over-pay for him, and that wouldn't be worth it.

It was between Landry and Nick Young for me. Landry has killed the wolves more times than I care to remember so I'll give him the nod.

That's a good pick. Landry was killing it the past two years until he got sent to a bad situation in Sacto with all their big men and their terrible coach/rotations. Nick Young is solid and all, but I think it's just that he's getting a ton of minutes on a bad team. I wouldn't say Young is a overly great player by any means. He just jacks up a TON of shots.

Being able to average 18 ppg is worth the last pick of the lottery, even if he is getting them on a bad team.

Struggled to start the year because he had an injured foot and missed training camp and learning the Spurs system. He's playing much better lately with Duncan out (although he still has his limitations.) His length and defense is pretty good though. With that said, I think he'll become a pretty solid NBA player over time.

And we are officially out of players who are very good.

1. Kevin Durant
2. Al Horford
3. Joakim Noah
4. Mike Conley
5. Marc Gasol
6. Aaron Afflalo
7. Jeff Green
8. Rodney Stuckey
9. Thad Young
10. Glen Davis
11. Ramon Sessions
12. Wilson Chandler
13. Carl Landry
14. Nick Young
15. Tiago Splitter
16. Corey Brewer

In the right situation Corey can be a useful player. I'm really scratching my head on where if anywhere Oden should be taken. He basically missed his rookie deal time by being injured. What value is that to a team. Anyone can overpay for him this off-season if they believe in him.

I still like Jared Dudley a lot. I almost took him over Splitter.

Corey Brewer over Dudley, Aaron Brooks, Fernandez, Belinelli, or Oden is questionable to say the least
