Tell me one reason why someone would take Darko. If I would make the decision I would rather lett him for nothing. But the Grizz will resign Marc anyway. You will see... :whistle:

Teammate Zach Randolph said that the Grizzlies told him they are intending to re-sign impending free agent Marc Gasol.
"That's one of the reasons I signed," Z-Bo said. "They told me they were going to sign Marc back. That's what they said." It should be interesting to see how much money they plan to offer Gasol, who is going to be an extremely attractive option on the free agent market. Having just dished out lucrative extensions to Randolph, Gay and Conley, Memphis may not have the resources necessary to retain their starting center.

K-Lav is pretty much guaranteed the max. The only way he won't get it is if the wolves somehow convince him to sign an extension during the next year, which with the impending lockout and K-Lav's impending free agency (FREEEEEEEEEEDOOOOOOOOM), I highly doubt that will happen. When he becomes a restricted free agent, it only takes one team to offer him the max and then the wolves have to match the offer if they want to keep him. It's going to happen. Whichever team that does it will either be happy that they got a 23 yr old all star, or they will be happy that they made the wolves sign a player to a max contract that doesn't deserve one.

Dude don't be afraid of the max contract... a million bucks per rebound per game is reasonable, I mean we're already paying Jonny a million bucks per turnover per game :silly:
