I have to disagree about Chauncey. Basically all his accomplishments came when he was on Detroit. Even if he was the most important player on that team, Rip, Sheed, and Big Ben were are really good players and nearly his equal. So are they hall of famers? Big Ben is arguable, but definitely no on the other two. I don't think Chauncey has been good enough for long enough. Same goes for Ben Wallace.
With Dwight Howard's (lack of) injury history, it's probably safe to just project him in. He's going to be in even if he doesn't have sustained excellence over a really long career.
Grant Hill - I'd say no because of all the injuries, but I also don't know how much college career factors in. So I could see it happening I guess.
Manu seems like an OUT to me, not sure how 5 of 6 voted him IN. Unless they are looking to vote in more Euro players just for the sake of getting more in the HoF.
Ok the next person is Tony Parker and you guys have him IN as well? This is getting absurd. Manu is at least debatable. Tony Parker. Really!?
It is a "basketball" HOF... not an "NBA" HOF. All basketball accomplishments count.
Therefore, Manu, Hill, and Parker are all definitely worthy. I agree Chauncey is borderline, but I like him so I said Yes.
