I'll go with the cHeat in 6. Not quite time for the Thunder. Plus a healthy Bosh makes a huge difference.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Thunder in 7. I can't imagine how the cHeat aren't favored in this. They have a TON of experience compared to the Thunda. The Thunder have faced little to no adversity in the league. None of their key players (I don't expect Fisher to be too pivotal) have been here.

Conversely, Wade isn't rattled, he's won it before. Lebron has been to the finals like 13 years in a row or something. Haslem has won. Bosh has been here.

Additionally, you can't overstate Bosh's impact. HE is the reason they won game 7. Ibaka is neutralized by having to guard him on the perimeter (call him the mini-Dirk). He gives them an energy boost and is one of the few guys on that team with that outward emotion a team periodically needs.

Still, I can't stand them. They are Hollywood as hell. Lebron is going to be exhausted guarding Durant (and vice versa). However, Sefalosha will be free to just focus on shutting down Wade. If Wade doesn't guard Westbrook he'll average 47 points a game. I also firmly believe Westbrook is the better player. Unless Wade steals some of KG's steroids, he has been pretty average thus far this year. Hopefully Harden also tilts the scales in favor of the Thunda.

Someone asked me the other day, while watching game 7 of the cHeat vs. the greatest duo man has ever seen (Rondo and Da Grandpa...no longer Da Kid), "Why do you dislike the cHeat so much?" I'll tell you why you cocksucker (Man does Al Swearenger love that word). I'm a coach at heart. What can my players learn from sitting down and watching that cocksucking team? It's unrealistic to expect teenagers to block out their BS and to focus on Lebron's D, Haslem's fundamentals and physicality, or Battier's consistency. All they see is the sensationalism, the whining, the showboating, the one-on-one, the Hollywood personas, and the great individual athleticism of Lebron and Wade. They learn nothing positive from that. Every cocksucking teenage boy is trying to play like Lebron and Wade when they all can barely touch the rim and should trying to replicate Ray Allen, KG, Rondo, Battier, Perkins, Duncan, Harden, etc.

For all the kids trying to learn the game, go Thunda...the lesser of two evils.

(Oops! I was on the wrong thread. Story of my life.) :woohoo:

Here we go! Guess a couple are predicting the Heat. I like the Thunder in 6. Think it was how they came back on the Spurs that did it for me.

Al Swearengen's use of the word 'cocksucker' is fantastic, and second to none. Just wait until season 2...

OKC in 4.

I hope these finals go by as fast as possible so we could move on to more important stuff, like the NBA Draft, NBA Free Agency, pulling hair because of the NBA Draft, scratching head because of NBA free agency.

Put Lebron on Westbrook, he ain't stopping Durant's release anyway. Put Battier on Durant. Put Wade in a corner on Thabo and tell him to grab his sack and play baksetball.

The fycking audacity of Brooks to play Fisher and Collison over Ibaka and Harden! CW, still want to do that trade for Love? If Ibaka was such a defensive player of the year candidate would he be on the bench so often? Doubt it. Blocks make not a tenacious defender.

The Heat need more from their starting small forward Christopher Bosh. Lebron already plays point power forward, he needs help. And I love to see them all lose...

Westbrook isn't playing around this series...Everyone talks about the Heat's front line being undersized and soft, but that backcourt has serious issues in trying to stop Westbrook penetrating. By the way, Wade looks like he's 50 years old out there. Father time has not been good to him

I always had a feeling Wade had a game that wouldn't be sustainable into his 30's. Seeing some early signs of this now.

This series could change in an instant, so I will spare the knee-jerk "what the hell should the Heat do this offseason" posts until at least game 4.

What's hard is, in a vacuum, LeBron is a guy everyone should be rooting for. He SHOULD be as likable as Durant. It is sad that his PR misadventures have generated negative images of such a wonderful basketball player. Part of me hopes he leaves the Heat someday and starts to repair that image. LeBron is a guy I would probably like if it were in a different context.

Did you just compare Bosh to Nowitzki? Are you high?

As a stretch 4 (the only thing Bosh does in MIA) it is a valid comparison. He also may have been high, which of course makes DFS a terrible person worthy of a life sentence/death penalty

Put him in the hole.

Nowitzki is primarily an isolation scorer. Bosh's outside shot selection is a lot more like KG's than like Nowitzki's.

I was happy to see Bosh get destroyed a few times last night on the ferocious Westbrook rim assaults.

Wow, sounds like the cHeat blew game 1 and they should have won it? The series definitely isn't over.

Funny thing is that like WW said, Lebron is the consummate teammate. He shares the ball, makes others better, plays defense, isn't a ballhog... he does everything. He really should be applauded.
