Too bad this is a not a conversation up on youtube:
Doc Rivers: "I tell him every day, 'You're no longer Darko. You're a Celtic. And one day, we asked him what his name was and he said, 'Celtic.' And everyone just started laughing. All I'm trying to do is get him to forget about trying to be something he isn't -- and just be someone for the team."

I wonder if this is the same motivational strategy that Rick Adelman used???

aaaahahahaha I love that. For some reason any story is at least 5 times funnier if the person involved is Darko.

Couple headlines on RealGM:

"Granger out three months following injection" in his left knee. Ouch!

"Nets admit roster construction had Heat in mind" ...No wonder they couldn't win a home game against the T-Wolves team missing its two best players. Their roster strategy needs to be a little more concerned with the Russians in the NBA and a little less on the so-called South Beach talent.

Holy crap. Yeah... they are for sure a lock for the #1 seed this season.

In the East? Sure. Not overall, because the Wolves are clear favorites

Well, if that's true, the Nyets did a horrible job of it. If I was going to build a team to beat the cHeat the first thing I would do is certainly NOT anything they have done other than Crash Wallace. Iso Joe? Maybe for 8 mill a year. Brooke Lopez? Maybe for 8 mill a year. Humphries? Not next to Lopez.

Anyone watching this Spurs-Clippers game? Don't like either of them, but I think I like the Clippers less.

Spurs big men, Diaw and Duncan, are helpless outside of the paint. Their lateral movement is nonexistent tonight (maybe all season, I haven't watched em). Paul should be running PnR's all game.

I watched the 2nd half. Fun half to watch considering how much of a blowout it was. Wow, the Clippers looked great. Their bench might be almost as good as our league best bench ;) Blake was acting like Blake, D'Andre was just sick, Crawford looks like he is on skates rather than shoes on offense, Eric Bledsoe is just damn good, and Matt Barnes continues to be a gritty, undervalued, intangible laden glue guy.

Isn't it funny how the 2 LA teams both have extremely talented teams, only to be coached by Mike Clown & Vinny Del Negro...meanwhile the Wolves have Adelman! I LOVE it!

Black Vinny is better than Mike Clown. what a waste.

Speaking of coaches, I wish Monty Williams had a good team, he seems to know what he's doing. Anyway,

Off night by the Spurs, ridiculous night by the Clippers. I REALLY hope the Wolves play the Clippers in the playoffs (2-7 matchup...Wolves will be 2  ). The prancing flopper Griffin will get destroyed by the Love/Cunningham combo while Jordan is going to get domestically abused by Pek and Steamer.

Something we all can appreciate:

1. Anytime a 6'8 player throws Howard's sh it It's fine by me.
2. Nice travel Howard.
3. Same ol' Al Jefferson, playing zero defense.

Mike Brown FIRED. Already...man, talk about overreaction. If (theoretically) he is a bad coach, you'd have known already. If he's a good coach, he'd learn from this crazy situation they have and create a successful team. Either way, this team is sunk. They are done.

There is room on the "Lakers are trash" bandwagon that CW and I have been on all summer. 2nd round of the playoffs, MAX. Absolute max.

Bwahahahahaha Mike Clown lololololol!!!

Like ya couldn't see that coming a billion miles away. One of the worst hirings in years. Too bad they might be better by default without him, but yeah... NO WAY they make it past the second round of the playoffs. I still believe................. in them not even making it!!! :silly:

I am loving this Lakers implosion. Sooooooo great. B)
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

I loved this comment!

Unfortunately, this changed fast. My money is on Jerry Sloan taking the LAL job.

AP to D-Rose:
"My advice for him would be to just attack it. Right now, the ligament is strong enough to cut with it. Don't be hesitant. When you're out doing drills, do it as you normally would any other day. Push yourself and challenge yourself. That's the only way you'll build the strength and confidence to where it should be."

Peterson, who leads the NFL with 957 yards rushing, said "90 percent" of his rehab was mental.

"And that's what I would tell him: 'Man, you're (six months out), you're strong, you can't damage it unless a freak accident takes place," he said. "Attack it like any other day and make sure, when you're done working out, you know you've accomplished something.' "
